Fernando Diniz celebra vitória mas lamenta perda de oportunidades: “Resultado não traduz o jogo”
O Fluminense bateu o Botafogo no Niton Santos, por 1×0 com gol de Manoel e entrou no G6 do Campeonato Brasileiro. Após a vitória, o treinador Fernando Diniz concedeu uma entrevista coletiva e falou sobre a importância do resultado, o acidente antes do jogo e fez um resumo da partida.
O técnico do Fluminense começou dizendo que a equipe fez um grande jogo e que dominaram a posse desde o primeiro tempo. Ressaltou também o número de posse de bola que chegou aos 85% no intervalo da partida.
Fluminense fez um grande jogo, divido as dificuldades que o Botafogo trouxe. A gente dominou a posse desde o primeiro tempo. Concordo que poderíamos ter finalizado melhor em alguns lances, mas a equipe está de parabéns. Jogar um clássico com quase 80% e não ceder contra-ataques para o Botafogo… Fizemos o gol, mas criamos outras chances, acho que o resultado não traduz o jogo, afirmou Fernando Diniz.
“Jogar um clássico que você tem praticamente 80% de posse e não cedemos quase nada de contra-ataques para o Botafogo, acho que temos que elogiar ao máximo o time. A gente sabe que no futebol a coisa mais difícil que tem é jogar contra linha baixa, e a mais fácil é marcar em linha baixa, então o Fluminense tem todos os méritos. Fizemos o gol, mas criamos outras chances, tivemos volume de escanteio, chute, finalização… Acho que o resultado de 1 a 0 não traduz o jogo de nenhuma forma”, concluiu Diniz.

Sobre o episódio que antecedeu o clássico Vovô dessa tarde, Fernando Diniz concedeu o ataque feito contra o ônibus do clube Tricolor. Pediu uma iniciativa dos responsáveis pelo fato e afirmou que acredita que ninguém do Botafogo tenha participação no ato.
A gente lamenta, não porque foi no ônibus do Fluminense, isso não deve acontecer em nenhum jogo, jamais deveria acontecer. É lamentável, acredito que não tenha participação de ninguém do Botafogo, foi um fato isolado, mas enquanto isso tem a possibilidade de acontecer, talvez a gente precise de algumas medidas de segurança. Não esperar acontecer o pior para poder tomar alguma iniciativa. A gente deu muita sorte porque pegou na coluna do ônibus, se pega no vidro, talvez tivesse machucado alguém com alguma gravidade. É lamentável esse fato.

“Todo mundo que se dedica para fazer uma coisa, não só em futebol, mas como pessoa, ao longo de três anos, tem que melhorar. Eu melhorei, na minha avaliação, como pessoa e como treinador. Nos aspectos defensivos do jogo e de melhorar a saída, aquilo que já tinha de bom. Fortalecer a minha ideia, nunca pensei em mudar minha essência no futebol, muito pelo contrário, conforme o tempo foi passando e as críticas superficiais foram aparecendo, eu tive convicção que estava no caminho certo. Em relação à parte tática, é que para o torcedor, fica a emoção do jogo. Então às vezes jogar ali atrás gera esse tipo de emoção”.
Cruzamentos na área
“Em relação a cruzar bolas na área, tudo é muito recente, voltei há menos de dois meses. O recurso do cruzamento é algo que a gente poderia ter feito mais hoje. Contra o América-MG, a gente fez bastante cruzamento. Hoje poderíamos ter feito alguns. Mas não é cruzar por cruzar, para ficar chuveirando bola na área é favorecer muito o Botafogo, que tem zagueiros altos. Mas em algumas situações que chegamos com a bola em velocidade e com um prenchimento de área bastante agressivo, deixamos de cruzar em algumas situações, mas isso é uma questão que com os treinamentos a gente vai ajustando aos poucos. Mas a equipe está de parabéns, acho que insistimos no jogo por dentro demasiadamente em algumas situações, mas isso é questão de refino, não é de uma vez só”.

“Se a gente pegar o número de oportunidades que a gente criou e gol que a gente fez saindo dos pés do Fábio, contra o Atlético-MG, por exemplo, se você avaliar ali, foi o erro mais claro que aconteceu desde que cheguei e aconteceu o gol, que foi uma jogada clara. Teve um erro ali, então você fica: “Ah, essa jogada não vale a pena”. Daqueles cinco gols, em quatro o Fábio participou de alguma forma, a bola passou no pé dele. Se fosse só daquele jogo fazer uma avaliação de como é sair jogando… Só que para o torcedor fica essa emoção, e a gente tem que fazer o que de fato dá resultado. Se aquilo fosse tão perigoso assim, como vocês acham, o Botafogo teria pressionado o jogo todo. Se você avaliar, Cruzeiro, Atlético-MG e Flamengo nos pressionaram bastante o jogo todo, e a gente fez partidas muito boas. Sair jogando contra isso aqui hoje é mais difícil do que sair jogando lá, embora pese… Uma hora você vai errar, nada é perfeito. Mas quando você contabiliza e conforme você vai passando, jogando e treinando, a tendência é que você fique melhor naquele tipo de situação”.
