Equipe de vôlei feminina sub-19 viaja para Caxias do Sul-RS para a disputa do CBI
O Fluminense viajou hoje com sua equipe de vôlei feminina sub-19 para Caxias do Sul-RS onde disputa a partir de amanhã a fase classificatória do Campeonato Brasileiro Interclubes de 2023. Por coincidência, no embarque no aeroporto Santos Dumont, a delegação tricolor encontrou o treinador do futebol masculino Fernando Diniz.
O Fluminense está na classificatória B do CBI junto com outras 13 equipes, divididas em 3 grupos. Dentro desta classificatória, o Time de Guerreiras divide o grupo B com Recreio da Juventude (RS), Tijuca (RJ), São Paulo (SP) e Marechal (PR). Nos primeiros três dias, as equipes se enfrentam dentro dos seus grupos e, após esta fase, as 8 melhores equipes na classificação geral avançam para os playoffs. As finalistas e as vencedoras da disputa do terceiro lugar se classificam para a disputa da fase final em Saquarema-RJ, em dezembro, onde encontram os times vencedores da Classificatória A, que acontece em Criciúma-SC.

São as melhores possíveis. Ficar entre os três primeiros e jogar a fase final em Saquarema seria muito importante, mas não será fácil. O time está em crescimento. Estamos treinando 5 vezes por semana, então fizemos algus ajustes importantes e estamos motivados.

A expectativa é sempre fazer o melhor. Tivemos uma preparação intensa e trabalhamos muito! A comissão tem sido extraordinária com todas nós e vamos dar o nosso melhor para conseguir a classificação para Saquarema;
A estreia da equipe é nesta terça (19/09) contra o Tijuca, adversárias conhecidas do campeonato estadual. O treinador Rodrigo também falou conosco sobre a ansiedade do grupo para a abertura da competição:
Estamos mantendo o grupo muito animado. O Tijuca tem sido um adversário complicado para nós no Campeonato Estadual, mas vamos brigar até o final. A conversa entre nós é que temos que doar o máximo até o final e que precisamos deixar tudo dentro de quadra. A nossa evolução em comparação aos jogos contra o TTC no Carioca é nítida, então estaremos do lado das atletas até o fim.
Rodrigo falou também sobre o encontro inusitado com Fernando Diniz:
O Diniz foi muito educado conosco! Demonstrou muito interesse sobre a nossa equipe, sobre a competição que estamos indo disputar. Fico feliz pelas conquistas profissionais dele, ele é um cara muito merecedor. No fim, nos desejou boa sorte no CBI!
