Solicitado novo prazo pela comissão que analisa pedido de Impeachment
A Comissão para Assuntos Disciplinares do Conselho Deliberativo do Fluminense solicitou mais tempo para avaliar o pedido de impeachment feito contra o presidente Pedro Abad. Caberá a Fernando Leite, presidente do Conselho, decidir se prorroga o prazo de análise do requerimento apresentado pela oposição.
De acordo com o estatuto do Tricolor, a comissão tinha oito dias, a contar da apresentação da defesa de Abad, para opinar sobre o caso. Como o mandatário entregou o documento em 6 de setembro, o parecer deveria ter sido elaborado até o último dia 14.

O prazo de oito dias foi considerado insuficiente para analisar os documentos apresentados, que embasam o pedido de impeachment e a defesa do presidente. A comissão ainda discute internamente a necessidade de ouvir algumas testemunhas.
A sessão do Conselho Deliberativo que apreciará o relatório da comissão só poderá ocorrer com a presença mínima de 150 conselheiros. Para ser aprovado, o impeachment precisa de 2/3 dos votos dos presentes. Número que situação e oposição concordam ser difícil de alcançar.
