Com os três gols marcados diante do Figueirense, Nenê chegou a 15 gols em 27 jogos, assumindo assim a liderança no ranking de artilheiro do país na temporada. Com média de 0,65 por partida, o camisa 77 atingiu a melhor marca da carreira.
Os números mostram a importância de Nenê para o Fluminense. O meia possui a mesma quantidade de gols que Evanilson, Marcos Paulo e Luccas Claro, respectivamente, segundo, terceiro e quarto jogador com mais gols na temporada, juntos.
