Mário Bittencourt define vídeo que originou denúncia de racismo no Fla-Flu como inconclusivo; clube apura caso
No tarde de domingo (06/02), o Fluminense venceu o Flamengo por 1×0 no estádio Nilton Santos em partida válida pela quarta rodada da Taça Guanabara. Fora de campo, entretanto, uma denúncia de racismo por parte de um torcedor para cima do atacante rubro-negro Gabriel Barbosa tomou conta dos holofotes. Após o Tricolor se manifestar de forma oficial com uma nota em suas redes, o presidente do clube, Mário Bittencourt, participou do programa Redação SporTV e comentou sobre o caso.
Dentro de campo no estádio Nilton Santos, o Fluminense foi buscar mais uma vitória contra o maior rival e ampliou a freguesia recente contra o Flamengo. Na saída de campo do time da Gávea, um vídeo publicado pela jornalista Isabelle Costa, repórter da s1live, mostra o que seria um torcedor chamando o atacante Gabriel Barbosa de “macaco”. Os clubes envolvidos no episódio e o próprio atleta se manifestaram oficialmente indicando que as imagens estão sendo apuradas para o seguimento da denúncia.
Nesta segunda-feira (07/02), o presidente do Fluminense, Mário Bittencourt participou ao vivo do programa Redação SporTV e se manifestou sobre o caso. O mandatário Tricolor comentou sobre o vídeo em circulação e disse que clube entende que o áudio é inconclusivo. Bittencourt completou dizendo que o clube está apurando o caso e solicitou a participação do Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva do Rio de Janeiro:

“A posição do Fluminense é de que o áudio ainda é inconclusivo, solicitamos as câmeras e os possíveis áudios que tenham no estádio. Nosso departamento jurídico preparou um pedido de inquérito para ser enviado ao TJD, para que o TJD apure junto conosco e identifique o suposto ou possível autor da injúria racial. Neste momento, juridicamente, o Fluminense não tem comprovação de que a frase dita no meio daquele tumulto foi exatamente aquela que as pessoas acham que foi dita e, se ela foi dita, nós repudiamos integralmente. Por isso estamos buscando apurar os fatos e tentar descobrir quem disse a frase, se a frase é aquela. Nossa intenção é descobrir quem foi, coibir e punir. Se for sócio do clube, será devidamente punido, nós não toleramos esse tipo de atitude”.
Completando sua fala, o presidente também falou das denúncias de cantos homofóbicos vindas da torcida do Flamengo para torcedores do Flu:
“Eu estava no estádio e não ouvi. Talvez estivesse distante. Da mesma maneira que pedimos sobre o Gabigol, vamos buscar também que o tribunal analise esse caso. Já aconteceu com Fluminense e Flamengo no passado. Fazemos um trabalho para tentar controlar. Temos que fazer campanhas, como fazemos. E quando há um caso, buscar descobrir os autores, e é o que estamos fazendo. Que a justiça puna exemplarmente”.
