O Fluminense tem uma nova treinadora nas categorias de base do seu Vôlei Feminino: Luiza Scher. Ela chega para assumir a equipe Sub-17 na temporada 2024.
Luiza tem 28 anos e foi atleta do Fluminense na temporada 2012/2013, tendo feito sua última temporada dentro de quadra em 2018/2019 com passagens por São Caetano, Sesi, Brusque, Curitibano, Botafogo e Flamengo.
Ela chega ao Flu para assumir a equipe Sub-17 tendo no currículo a atuação como Auxiliar Técnica de Guilherme Schmitz com a Seleção Brasileira no Mundial Sub-19 de 2023, disputado na Hungria, junto como auxiliar Marcelo Freitas, o auxiliar de quadra Rafael Menezes e o preparador físico Rafael Jesus, integrantes também da comissão comandada Guilherme no grupo adulto do Tricolor.
