Gustavo Apis sofre grave lesão no Fluminense e vai passar por cirurgia
O Fluminense informou, nesta terça-feira (24), que o meia-atacante Gustavo Apis sofreu uma lesão no ligamento cruzado anterior e no menisco lateral do joelho esquerdo. De acordo com o clube, o jovem de 23 anos vai precisar passar por uma cirurgia.
O Tricolor não deu mais detalhes sobre como o meia se machucou. Mas confirmou que a lesão de Gustavo Apis ocorreu na semana passada e o departamento médico estava aguardando o resultado dos exames antes de comunicar a imprensa.
Revelado pelo Nova Iguaçu — onde disputou 37 jogos e marcou 10 gols — Gustavo Apis chegou ao Flu por empréstimo em 2021. Em seu primeiro ano, atuou principalmente pelo Sub-23 no Brasileirão de Aspirantes, além de disputar seis partidas pelo profissional. Por isso, no mesmo ano o clube acertou a compra em definitivo do meia junto ao time da Baixada fluminense por R$ 500 mil reais.

No ano seguinte, contudo, Apis acabou emprestado ao CRB para a disputa do Campeonato Alagoano. De volta ao CT Carlos Castilho no segundo semestre, participou de sete partidas pelo Brasileirão de Aspirantes, onde marcou um gol. Mesmo com o fim do Sub-23 depois que a CBF cancelou a única competição da categoria, Gustavo vinha treinando com o time principal durante a pré-temporada ao lado de outros nomes que fizeram parte do projeto como o lateral Marcos Pedro, o volante Douglas Nathan e o também meia Yago Ferreira, por exemplo.
O Fluminense não revelou a estimativa para a recuperação de Gustavo Apis. O meia tem contrato com o Tricolor até o fim de 2025.
