Guerreiras de Elite! Fluminense vence JC nos pênaltis e garante acesso para a Série A1
O Fluminense jogará a primeira divisão do futebol feminino nacional em 2024. Depois de empatar em 0x0 contra a equipe do JC, fora de casa, e vencer nos pênaltis por 4×2, as guerreiras garantiram a vaga para as semifinais da A2 e para a Série A1 de 2024. É a primeira vez na história que o Flu irá figurar na elite, já que desde o início do projeto, em 2019, o tricolor só havia participado da Série A2.
A partida foi marcada pelo intenso calor amazonense, muitas paradas por cãibras e jogadoras sentindo muito a alta temperatura no Estádio Florão. A equipe do JC teve mais chances: 11 finalizações contra 6 do Tricolor, que contou com excelentes defesas da goleira Amanda Coimbra, destaque da partida.
Na disputa de pênaltis, Amanda defendeu a primeira cobrança do JC, que ainda bateu para fora a quarta cobrança. Pelo Fluminense converteram Gadu, Isa Rangel, Flavia Gil e Bea, além de uma cobrança da Thaini pra fora.
