Gatoferj: Mário recebe advertência e caso é encerrado
Na tarde desta quarta-feira, em julgamento realizado por videoconferência, o Pleno do Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva (STJD) suspendeu o presidente do Fluminense, Mário Bittencourt, por 15 dias em razão das críticas feitas à Ferj e ao TJD-RJ sobre a polêmica da transmissão da final da Taça Rio contra o Flamengo – episódio que ficou conhecido como “GatoFerj”. Mas a pena foi convertida apenas em advertência para o mandatário tricolor.
A punição foi dada com base no artigo 258 do Código Brasileiro de Justiça Desportiva (CBJD), que fala em “assumir qualquer conduta contrária à disciplina ou à ética desportiva”. O processo, movido pela Procuradoria do TJD-RJ, previa multa de R$ 100 a R$ 200 mil e suspensão de até 630 dias ao presidente tricolor. Como o julgamento foi na última instância esportiva, não cabe recurso da decisão. Apesar de não ter sido absolvido, o resultado não deixa de ser uma vitória para Mário nos bastidores da briga com a Ferj.
