Na tarde desta sexta-feira, o Fluminense emitiu uma nota oficial explicando sobre a polêmica da proibição da entrada de novas faixas e bandeiras das torcidas organizadas no Maracanã, no jogo contra o Corinthians. O clube deu sua versão após ter sido acusado pelas organizadas de ter feito a proibição para evitar protestos.

– Em resposta às notas de algumas torcidas, o Fluminense esclarece que não houve nenhuma ordem do clube para retirada das bandeiras de nossas torcidas no Maracanã. A funcionária do clube responsável pela organização do estádio informou ao representante das torcidas que as bandeiras que já estavam no estádio desde o Fla x Flu iriam permanecer, mas que novas bandeiras não poderiam ser colocadas especificamente nesta partida porque o clube fará uma ação de marketing (nível Nacional) e precisará utilizar um espaço específico para a referida ação. Com relação as bandeiras e faixas, elas são componente fundamental de nossos jogos, bem como fazem parte de nossa história. Qualquer outra interpretação dada ao fato é equivocada.
