Brasileirão: São Paulo, Athletico PR e Grêmio empatam. Flu volta ao G5
Com a vitória sobre o Santos no Maracanã no último sábado (29), o Fluminense conquistou três pontos importantíssimos para se manter na briga pelo G4. A rodada com um todo foi bastante benéfica para o tricolor, apesar das vitórias de times que estão à frente na tabela de classificação.
Antes da partida contra o peixe, o tricolor ocupava a 7ª posição na tabela, depois de uma fraca partida como visitante no Couto Pereira. Ao fim desta última rodada, o time comandado por Fernando Diniz ocupa a 5ª colocação, após ultrapassar o São Paulo e o Athletico PR. Ambas as equipes tropeçaram dentro de casa na rodada.

No Morumbi, o tricolor paulista até tentou, mas parou na boa atuação do goleiro Marcos Felipe, emprestado pelo Fluminense ao Bahia. Com o empate sem gols, o time comandado por Dorival Júnior ocupa a 8ª posição.
Na Arena da Baixada, o Athletico não conseguiu usufruir de seu forte fator casa. Na presença de sua torcida e em jogo de seis gols, o furacão ficou no empate em 3 a 3 com o Cruzeiro, e é o 7º colocado do campeonato.
Outro resultado positivo para o Fluminense foi o empate do Grêmio fora de casa diante do Goiás. O time de Porto Alegre correu atrás do placar e conseguiu seu gol no apagar das luzes deixando tudo igual na Serrinha. O time de Renato Gaúcho e Luis Suarez está dois pontos a frente do tricolor e pega o Vasco em São Januário no próximo domingo (07), desesperado para pontuar e sair da lanterna do campeonato.
Apesar de ter vencido por goleada fora de casa, o Palmeiras tenta se reerguer após cinco jogos sem vitória. Vale lembrar que o Fluminense recebe o time paulista no Maracanã no próximo sábado (06) e, em caso de vitória, ultrapassa o time de Abel Ferreira na tabela.
Fluminense e Palmeiras jogam durante a semana pela Libertadores fora de casa e, após o confronto direto, disputam o segundo jogo das oitavas de final da competição. Pode-se esperar os times poupando peças no confronto no Maracanã.
