Dentro de campo, o Tricolor se demonstrou soberano no comando das ações ofensivas e venceu o Clássico Vovô pelo placar de 1×0 com belo gol marcado pelo zagueiro Manoel. Destaque no meio campo e um dos comandantes do importante triunfo, Nonato destacou o trabalho feito por Fernando Diniz e classificou o jogo de domingo como um divisor de águas para o Flu.

O Time de Guerreiros vem numa boa sequência de quatro jogos sem perder e neste domingo, os comandados de Fernando Diniz apresentaram uma bela atuação para bater o Botafogo pelo placar de 1×0 no Brasileirão. A manutenção da posse de bola e o grande volume na troca de passes por parte do Tricolor novamente chamaram atenção com os scouts do jogo marcando 79% de posse para o Flu e incríveis 729 passes contra 182 do rival. Um dos destaques da grande vitória foi o meia Nonato, que comandou as ações no meio-campo e terminou com a nota 8.0 – a maior ao lado do artilheiro da noite, Manoel – segundo o site SofaScore.
No Estádio Nilton Santos, o meia acertou 99 passes, sendo 83% de precisão e um deles de caráter decisivo, acertou quatro bolas longas, venceu 22 duelos no chão e quatro aéreos, oito faltas sofridas e sete desarmes. “É claro que vão haver oscilações do trabalho, mas temos plena confiança que vamos consolidar esse trabalho que vem sendo muito bem feito pelo Diniz. Os jogadores compraram a ideia. Essa vitória nos coloca na parte de cima da tabela, esse jogo era um divisor de águas por ser um concorrente direto na tabela para a gente estar mais próximos do pelotão de cima”.

Para além da felicidade pela vitória no clássico, a partida contra o Botafogo marcou a despedida do atacante Luiz Henrique do Fluminense. O Moleque de Xerém está de malas prontas para o Real Bétis, da Espanha e entrou em campo pela última vez com os companheiros do clube carioca. Sobre a saída de um jogador querido no elenco, Nonato lamentou, mas destacou a felicidade pelo sucesso do garoto:
“A gente fica triste pelo amigo que vai nos deixar, mas feliz pelo sucesso dele. É um menino humilde, que sabe ouvir bastante os mais velhos e que tem muita vontade de vencer. Claro que tem muito a evoluir, o potencial dele é gigante. Vai chegar nos tops do mundo, não tenho dúvida nenhuma. Ele está merecendo isso. Ficamos chateados pela despedida, mas é muito legal ver o sucesso desse garoto”.
Apesar da grande atuação no domingo, Nonato recebeu o terceiro amarelo e está suspenso para o próximo jogo do Fluminense. No próximo sábado, o adversário do Tricolor será o Corinthians, no Maracanã, às 16h30, e o meia já é um desfalque confirmado.
