Em entrevista coletiva concedida nesta manhã (7), o Presidente do Fluminense, Mário Bittencourt falou sobre a reforma do Estádio Manoel Schwartz. O mandatário disse que a previsão é que as obras comecem esse ano. Além, Mário ponderou que há possibilidades da realização de treinos abertos em vésperas de clássicos e jogos importantes.Confira:
“Sobre Laranjeiras, a previsão é que a reforma comece em 2022. Queremos abrir para que o público veja jogos da base por lá. Se der certo, queremos fazer alguns treinos em Laranjeiras, em véspera de jogos importantes, clássicos” – disse, o mandatário tricolor.
Inaugurado em 1919, num duelo entre Brasil e Chile, o Estádio Manoel Schwartz é um palco histórico no futebol sulamericano. Alvo de grandes conquistas do Fluminense e da seleção brasileira, o estádio não recebe mais jogos dos times principais do tricolor desde fevereiro de 2003. Nos gramados das Laranjeiras foram disputados 859 partidas, com 539 vitórias, 163 empates, 157 derrotas pelo time de guerreiros.
