Globo não transmitirá os jogos do Campeonato Carioca 2022 em TV aberta
A Globo desistiu de vez de exibir os jogos dos campeonatos estaduais na sua programação de 2022 e agora negocia a transmissão desses eventos para serem exibidos somente no Premiere. Com essa decisão, a Globo transmitirá em rede aberta o menor número de partidas das competições nacionais desde 1991. A rede de televisão agora terá o foco voltado a Copa do Brasil e ao Campeonato Brasileiro da Série A e B; sendo ao todo 48 datas de transmissões no ano que vem, como assim foi confirmado pela emissora ao mercado publicitário.
A Globo tomou essa decisão pois quer mirar somente em torneios relevantes e que geram lucro, de acordo com o site Notícias da TV . De acordo com a emissora, o Estadual deixou de ser um já que as partidas transmitidas não dão bons números, exceto as finais das competições e que demoram mais de dois meses para chegar.
