Fala, presidente: “Eu trabalho com realidade e com verdades” – Confira toda a coletiva

O presidente do Fluminense, Mário bittencourt, conversou por mais de duas horas com o jornalistas hoje. Ele conversou sobre as dívidas, Laranjeiras, Xerém, Gilberto, Marcos Paulo, futuro, planejamento e entre outros temas. Confira a coletiva na íntergra.
1- Inicialmente eu gostaria de saber sobre o substituto do Gilberto que surgiu, o peruano Advíncula. Se existe alguma negociação em curso. E, se ela existe em que estágio está essa negociação? E ainda nesse assunto, se a diretoria do Fluminense tem ideia de quantas saídas deve acontecer e quantas chegadas para esse elenco do Odair?
R: Com relação a nomes, nós já temos nosso departamento de scount analisando para todas as posições. Há alguns nomes oferecidos e alguns nomes que a gente gosta e está buscando informações sobre possibilidade de vinda, sobre valores. A gente trabalha com valores bem definidos e por enquanto a gente não tem nenhuma negociação em curso e nenhum nome definido. Os nomes que vocês ouvem são oferecidos ou muitas vezes o empresário diz que abriu conversa ou que buscamos mais informações. Dentre em breve, nós encontrando os nomes que nos agradada, nós vamos informar a vocês.
Chegou a do Gilberto que ainda não está concretizada, ele viajou para fazer exames médicos em Portugal. Mas dando tudo certo vamos poder concluir a operação. Essa proposta que chega em um momento que estávamos quase renovando o contrato com o Gilberto. Ele havia recebido duas sondagens de clubes do Brasil, mas eu disse que se for para vender para algum brasileiro, era melhor manter ele aqui. Até porque ele é um jogador que eu particularmente acho espetacular. Incorporou o espirito guerreiro do nosso clube, da nossa torcida. E no mesmo dia que tínhamos, não assinado a renovação, mas fechado os valores, chegou uma proposta à noite boa para o jogador, que estava fazendo por merecer, e para nós também. Se você imaginar que nós fizemos a aquisição de 50% do jogador por € 50 mil euros e estamos vendendo os nossos 50% por € 1,5 milhão de euros, então era uma proposta que a gente não podia recusar

2- Como é que está o Fluminense em relação a contratação de reforços? Buscar jogadores lá fora com um baixo custo, que podem ser útil aqui no Brasil.
R: Há jogadores que não deram certo aqui e deram certo em outros lugares, então essa questão de ser útil é bastante complicada. Condição financeira de comprar jogadores o Fluminense ainda não tem, então ser cirúrgico sem dinheiro é completamente diferente. Então a gente vai continuar tentando buscar jogadores que estejam dentro do nosso planejamento – uns podem dar certo e outros não. Então qualquer avaliação do elenco jogadores nesse momento é precipitada. Vamos continuar com nossa filosofia e com nosso trabalho, com o nosso orçamento vamos tentar montar cada vez mais um time competitivo.
3- Auditoria: A torcida tem cobrado bastante a realização de uma auditoria. Ao longo da sua gestão, você sempre tem questionado isso e falado sobre as questões do clube . Quando será realizado uma auditoria para saber o que de fato aconteceu nos últimos anos? E sobre a reforma de Laranjeiras, chegou a informação ontem de que você seria contra por diversos fatores. Poderia nos informar quais fatores?
R: O Flu sempre teve auditoria. O Fluminense sempre foi auditado. Essa auditoria era feita por uma mesma empresa e como nos ganhamos a eleição no meio do ano, não podíamos romper com essa empresa. E ai nos fomos buscar a contratação de uma empresa big four. E qual o problema? O Fluminense ficou tantos anos com desorganização administrativa que nenhum empresa big four se comprometeu e nos auditar enquanto a gente não organiza a documentação do clube. As duas empresa que procuramos falaram: O dia que o clube tiver organização interna, gente vai ser aceitar a organizar o Fluminense. Nós iniciamos em trabalho em janeiro de 2020, mas em razão da pandemia, paralisamos. Agora nos vamos voltar no meio do caminho, nesse final do ano, em 34 meses, consegui colocar na mão de uma empresa four a documentação do clube, para que possamos ser auditados por uma empresa four para colocarmos o Flu no trilho. Ontem até o orçamento foi aprovado. Pela primeira vez na história do clube, o orçamento foi divido por 4 torres, futebol, xerém, social e esportes olímpicos, Jamais havia sido feito. Vamos agora saber quanto custa cada um e para desenvolver as áreas em separado.
Sobre Laranjeiras, o tema, se tornou político. Toda as vezes que o Flu tem um revez, ou insatisfação, o tema é utilizado para tirar a tenção da gestão. Aí, se manda maquete, se manda foto (alguns veículos), ai quando eu me coloco verdadeiramente e realista, as pessoas, fazem politia dizendo que sou contra. Em nenhum momento ao longo da minha história no clube e no meu plano de gestão eu falei que ia fazer um novo estádio em laranjeiras. meu plano de gestão dizia revitalizar o patrimônio. Isso não significa fazer a vontade de alguém sem nenhum embasamento técnico. É uma discussão embrionária. Algo teórico de se poder voltar a jogar em Laranjeiras. Como sou sempre transparente, nunca disse que íamos sair do Maracanã. Laranjeiras poderia ser uma alternativa para alguns jogos nossos. Algumas pessoas falam para mim para jogarmos os jogos deficitários. Desculpa, mas isso tem que acabar. É o inverso! Estão me propondo construir um estadio para jogos deficitários. Se você conta isso para qualquer especialista em finanças, ele via dar gargalhada. Um clube que tem um monte de dificuldades, está falando de construir um novo equipamento para jogos deficitários?
Ontem, recebemos um grupo de pessoas que aprestaram um projeto para que o estádio possa ter 12 mil espectadores. O Flu apoia o estudo para eles arrecadem receitas para ver se esse estudo é viável. Para ficar bem claro! nossa equipe interna que cuida de arenas e estádios, não vê um estadio de 12/14 mil pessoas nas laranjeiras consiga se pagar naquele lugar, isso DEPOIS que ele estiver pronto. Existe uma discussão interna e eu falei ao grupo que após a pandemia, nós vamos fazer uma nova reunião entre o grupo e o nosso projeto para que a nossa equipe mostre ao grupo, com todo respeito, ninguém ali trabalha em arena ou jamais geriu uma arena. Então, vou colocar nossos especialistas e nossa equipe para mostrar ao grupo, os entendimentos de quem trabalha com isso.
Nenhum clube grande (o Fluminense é gigante) do Brasil que desenvolve o programa de sócio futebol no Brasil, caminha para ter uma arena menor do que 40 mil lugares. Nós temos um contrato hoje com uma arena de 60 mil lugares e vamos discutir uma arena de 12? Não é que sou contra. Eu sou realista. Se nós revitalizarmos Laranjeiras para 8, 15, 6,12 mil, nós teremos resultado positivo? Ninguém tem esse estudo. É uma discussão embrionária.
Isso virou uma obsessão, mas com todo respeito, no momento atual que o clube passa, de dificuldades financeiras e de reconstrução, o clube vai priorizar desenvolver times de futebol. Porque é o que ganha título! Estou aqui trabalhando para que a gente volte a ter times competitivos e brigar na parte de cima da tabela. Não há nenhum dado técnico comprovado que revitalizar Laranjeiras vai mudar a vida do Fluminense, ou superávit.
Já te adianto que o projeto que eu vinha falado é que os jogos do Sub-20, futebol feminino e os jogos do Sub-23, que vão começar em outubro, o Flu vai jogar lá em Laranjeiras. Mas ainda não há como comportar times profissionais. Ainda há muito para ser feito. Vestiários, arquibancadas, precisa ainda de muitas reformas. Tem 11 tipos de gramas plantadas ali. Eu não vou iludir ninguém. Eu não sou contra a revitalização, eu sou tricolor como tantos e tantos. Lá é nosso patrimônio, nossa casa. Mas não há ainda como passar qualquer tipo de estudo comprovado de que reformar Laranjeiras vai gerar retorno para o Flu. Agora, fazer política dizendo que sou contra esse projeto e ficar tentando iludir o torcedor que vamos ter um estádio para 15 mil pessoas daqui a há 6 meses, isso não vai acontecer. Quando voltaremos a falar do tema tecnicamente, vocês serão informados.
4-Como se faz o planejamento a longo prazo com orçamento limitado? As características dos jogadores procurados estão de acordo com o modelo de jogo? Como vocês estão pensando o futebol?
R:É uma discussão de varejo, sobre idade de jogador. É óbvio que temos erros e acertos. Mas temos dados estatísticos, dados técnicos. Ás vezes, você entra num avião de 20 anos, que está reformado e chega no destino. A idade não é um parâmetro. Nossa filosofia de trabalho é o seguinte: ano passado, nossa média de idade era muita baixa. Por estatísticas, times mais maduros chegam mais no topo da tabela. A média é com os 30 jogadores do elenco. A média do nosso elenco é de 24 anos, 23 são oriundos de Xerém. E aí leio que não aproveitamos jogadores da base. Temos um ataque com 2 jogadores da base. Querem um time com 11 jogadores da base? Ninguém tem. Quem tem 27, 28 anos, está maturado. E esses caras vão para os times que pagam mais. Temos jogadores com mais de 30 anos? São 8 jogadores. São 13 entre 24 e 30. E 20 jogadores abaixo de 24 anos, incluindo os que sobem e descem do sub-23. A gente renovou porque o campeonato acaba em fevereiro, e os contratos acabavam em dezembro. Imagina se estou disputando uma Libertadores e perco 8 jogadores? A culpa não foi nossa, mas contratos acabam em dezembro…. Nenê, Ferraz, Hudson. Os jogadores também tem os anseios dele. A gente conversa com o departamento médico, com o técnico, com o fisiologista. E aí a gente faz o contrato, se aprovado. Iríamos perder metade do time faltando 12, 15 rodadas. Iríamos ficar sem time, não tinha o que fazer. Sobre o Pablo Dyego, ele tem um dos salários mais baixos…. as pessoas atribuem salários que não existem aos jogadores. Tem jogador que subiu da base e ganha o dobro do Pablo Dyego. Falamos com o empresário, ele queria mais uma oportunidade, na proporção tempo de contrato/salário, valia a pena renovar. Estávamos em início de temporada, precisávamos de um elenco para disputar o campeonato. É óbvio que vamos acertar em renovações, e vamos errar também. Em todas as decisões eu posso errar. Eu vou errar, o Paulo vai errar, o jogador, o Odair, você erra trabalhando. Mas na conta final do meu ano, do meu dia, do meu mês, que eu acerto mais. Foi o Angioni que trouxe o Caio Henrique, o Allan. Ai ele erra em algum jogador, a filosofia é um lixo? As pessoas falam sobre futebol sem conhecimento. A gente escolheu o Odair porque ele tirou o Inter da Série B e levou pra Libertadores, com limitações de elenco. Os resultados não estão sendo aquilo que a gente queria. Mas ninguém imaginava que a gente iria vencer a Taça Rio. E vencemos, disputamos a final do Carioca dignamente. Fizemos dois amistosos contra um adversário que está na mesma faixa que nós. Vamos brigar por posição com eles, vencemos 1 e empatamos outra. Em 4 partidas, foram 2 vitórias e 2 empates. Se a gente jogou bem ou mal, é uma avaliação de cada um. A gente jogava bem ano passado, mas tinha 25% de aproveitamento. As pessoas analisam resultado, não a sequência do trabalho. Não sabem do dia-dia do clube, não acompanham. É um trabalho de longo prazo. Eu tenho um ano de gestão, houveram decisões, que discordei na época. Eu fui contra tirar o Fernando Diniz na época. Foi uma decisão de quem comandava o futebol (Celso Barros). Bahia saiu da Copa do Brasil, da Sul-Americana, foi vice da Copa do Nordeste…. e não vemos notícias da saída dele. Eles estão reconstruindo o clube há 6 anos, nós estamos há 1. Discutir sistema de jogo, o cara tem que está ali na beira do campo, tem que ter dado dois treinos na vida. Nem eu discuto, é o diretor-executivo, o chefe de scout. Se vai dar resultado, vamos saber em fevereiro. O que eu falei sobre os treinadores que saíram ano passado? Temos duas rescisões para pagar. Vamos pra terceira? Essa brincadeira custa caro. O Enderson Moreira foi mandado embora do Ceará, trouxe o Argel, depois trouxe o Enderson de volta. Pergunta ao Jorge Jesus se você treina um time da Série B? Revitalizar o Avaí? O CRB? Agora fala pra ele: vou te dar um elenco de 3 milhões para disputar tudo. Ele não quer isso. A discussão é simples, mas é recorrente. Ninguém nem sabe para saber quantos jogadores acima de 30 anos tem. A gente trabalha com foco, não significa que vai dar o resultado que queremos, mas a gente espera que dê. Se tivermos que ajustar no meio caminho, vamos fazer. Eu trabalho com a verdade Temos a 11ª folha do Brasileirão hoje…. mesmo com pouco dinheiro a gente acredita que possamos ir pra Pré-Libertadores. A gente trouxe um treinador que trouxe o Inter da Serie B para A. E levou o time para a Libertadores. A torcida do Inter pede para o Odair pra ele voltar hoje.
5- Qual o foco/expectativa da diretoria do Fluminense para o Campeonato Brasileiro?
R: Em 2014, eu era o Vice presidente de futebol. Foi a última vez que o Fluminense ficou na parte de cima da tabela. Ficamos em sexto lugar e não fomos liberadores porque na época era G4, e não G6. Perdemos, se não me engano, 15 pontos para times que foram rebaixados e ficamos a 4 pontos da zona de classificação para a libertadores. Tínhamos um time muito qualificado mas que vinha em declínio, o elenco estava envelhecendo. Continuei como vice presidente de futebol até fevereiro de 2016. Quem montou o time de 2015 fui eu. Nesse ano, ficamos em 13º lugar e chegamos a semifinal. Da Copa do Brasil. Aquele elenco custava 1/3 do de 2014. Eu consigo manter a base para o ano seguinte e faço algumas contratações pontuais. Montamos uma base, montamos um time é que custava o mesmo que o time de 2015. No começo do ano Tivemos dois resultados negativos e o presidente da época resolveu me tirar. Mesmo
Assim, o time venceu a primeira liga e vinha fazendo um bom campeonato brasileiro. Daí, começaram a desfazer o time ao longo do ano. No final de 2016 o time ficou na em 14º, 12, não me recordo, e o presidente vai e se desfaz do elenco praticamente todo pra montar algo totalmente novo em 2017. Quando começa o novo time, começa um novo trabalho. Em tese, daria resultado em 2018, mas desmonta o time todo mais uma vez pra poder montar outro time em 2018. Estamos tentando solidificar um elenco pra tentar manter o máximo possível pro ano seguinte, pra ter esse diferencial, já que não podemos fazer muitos investimentos. Por isso eu falo de pré libertadores, porque a gente pode chegar em 7º, 8º, mas não significa que não acredito que o time possa ir mais longe. Eu acredito sim, é muito. Nosso time é muito bom, mas temos dificuldades com peças de reposição. O brasileirão é muito longo. É assim que vamos reconstruir a instituição. Mantendo a base do time 3 aproveitando os jovens que o clube forma. Vamos voltar a disputar no topo do futebol brasileiro, tenho certeza absoluta disso.
6- Como está sua relação com a Federação Estadual de Futebol do Rio de Janeiro e sua relação com o Vice-presidente Celso Barros?
R: Vocês devia fazer essa pergunta para eles né (risos). Eles levantaram uma ação contra mim única e simplesmente pelo meu posicionamento contra a volta do futebol – e com todo respeito eu estava certo. O futebol do Rio de Janeiro é detentor dos recordes negativos: nos fomos os primeiros a retornar com o maior índice de mortes da história da humanidade nos últimos 100 anos. Então a relação é essa que todos vocês já sabem, a relação está na justiça. Com relação ao Celso Barros, não está mais no comando do futebol desde o ano passado, como vocês já sabem. Em algumas ocasiões a gente se fala cordialmente, mas eu gostaria de fazer um desagravo quando disseram que nós teríamos sido deselegantes na FluFest em não ter convidado o Celso Barros e nem o Conca. O Conca foi convidado, mas disse que não podia vir ao RJ naquele dia, depois ele disse que não sabia que o vídeo era pro evento e que se soubesse teria vindo. Não foi um evento para homenagear o tri campeonato, o lançamento do livro fazia parte das comemorações, mas o tema da FluFest era simplesmente a FluFest. Mas a inverdade de que nós excluímos o Celso Barros está no livro, a segundo página do livro foi escrita por ele. E também, por uma questão de saúde, por conta da pandemia, ele tem quase 70 anos de idade e ano passado ele teve um problema de saúde, especificamente no pulmão. Dessa forma, por isso optamos por não trazê-lo ao evento. O fato dele não estar mais do departamento de futebol, não significa que nós não respeitamos mais ele.
7-Mário, essa negociação do Gilberto pro Benfica gerou dúvidas em relação aos direitos econômicos do jogador. O clube emitiu uma explicação, mas afirmou que vai incluir uma nova coluna. Há mais casos semelhantes ao do Gilberto? E o Marcos Paulo?
R: Vamos botar a terceira coluna porque a primeira coisa que eu queria saber como presidente foi essa lista. A gente recebeu que a gente tinha 100% de direito econômico do Marcos Paulo. Existem contratos, anteriores a minha gestão, com algumas cláusulas bônus e exclusividade de % a pessoas ligadas ao atleta. E é um contrato válido. Não é direito econômico. É do Flu. Mas abriremos essa coluna para clarear ainda mais a cabeça do torcedor – e de vocês também. O jogador foi vendido, com % pra X e Y. São contratos legítimos e vamos abrir de todos os jogadores. O portal é da transferência. A gente não vai dar o nome de quem tem. Vocês podem descobrir, mas existem cláusulas que protegem a pessoa. Não há problema nisso, mas não vamos dizer quem é o terceiro. Isso para fora da instituição. Internamente, todos sabem.
8- Essas renovações de contrato que estão sendo cuidadosamente realizadas equivalem a reforços, né? Porque se o Fluminense está empenhado em não fazer dívidas, em ter jogadores já entrosados, isso significa mais que um simples renovação?
R: Só para você entender, quando a gente renova um jogador que está aqui, a gente não precisou ir ao Mercado e comprar. Uma vez eu recebi um ensinamento de um cara de mercado. Ele disse ‘toda vez que você rejeita uma proposta de contrato por um jogador, você está comprando ele por aquele preço’. Eu perguntei ‘como assim?’ e ele me respondeu ‘quando chega um clube e oferece € 5 milhões de euros por um jogador e você mantem o jogador, deixou de entrar € 5 milhão de euros e você manteve ele ali. Então você tá comprando um jogador por € 5 milhões de euros’. Quando você renova com um jogador, que já está e que já tem resultado, que a gente já conhece o caráter, já conhece a fisiologia dele, já conhece a maneira de jogo, a gente deixa de gastar dinheiro com contratação. Então, em um clube que precisa ser austero, a gente obviamente vai ser priorizar tentar esticar o contrato de quem está aqui. Quando eu falo que a discussão não pode ser no varejo é porque a gente tem aqui um teto de folha salarial. A gente aprovou ontem um orçamento que diz que a gente pode pagar por mês X bilhão de reais. Nós hoje estamos bem abaixo do que a gente se programou para gastar. Então, isso significa que eu posso fazer duas ou três contratações para o Brasileiro. Mas eu não estou abaixo porque eu montei um time abaixo, (estou abaixo) porque alguns jogadores saíram. Como, por exemplo, o Henrique, volante, por ondem pessoal, o próprio Gilberto, se concretizar, essa saída. E isso vai abrindo um fluxo. E só para você saber, a gente deixou no próprio orçamento um revés para, caso a gente esteja indo mal, nós deixamos um lastro para fazer um investimento de emergência na folha para trazer de repente três, quatro, cinco jogadores para, por exemplo, não brigar pelo rebaixamento, não cair para a segunda divisão. E por que essa conta? Para não perder o faturamento que ainda é o maior do clube, que é o contrato de televisão. Então existe uma gordura deixada ali. Trabalhamos com austeridade, mas deixamos uma gordura ali para salvar o futebol. E ontem no orçamento a gente comprovou que a gente gasta 90% do orçamento com o futebol profissional.
Acredite você ou não, nenhuma crítica, mas nas administrações anteriores, colocavam Xerém como despesa. Porque Xerém não tem direito de transmissão, não vende ingresso, ai eles diziam assim ‘gastamos R$ 12 milhões com Xerém e só entrou R$ 5 milhões, então tivemos um prejuízo de R$ 7 milhões com Xerém’, então Xerém deu prejuízo. Na reunião de planejamento do orçamento eu disse ‘Xerém não dá prejuízo nunca, Xerém a fábrica! (risos) Xerém é quem produz’. Então quando eu trago o Luiz Henrique e coloco ele no time profissional, eu não precisei gastar dinheiro, Xerém me deu de presente um jogador que vale milhões de euros, Xerém me deu de graça. Por isso que eu coloquei uma regra que toda vez que eu vendo um jogador formado em Xerém, 10% vai para Xerém, porque é Xerém que tá colocando o jogador no profissional. Então Xerém não vai dar prejuízo nunca, Xerém é o alicerce, Xerém a base do Fluminense. Então a gente tirou o que chamavam de custo e colocou como investimento. A gente investe, só para você saber, R$ 12 milhões por ano. R$ 1 milhão de reais por mês. Então a gente vende o Pedro, pode futuramente vender o Marcos Paulo. Com € 2 milhões de euros por ano, Xerém projeta jogadores que podem valer milhões de euros.
Neste momento, da história, a gente vai sobreviver vendendo jogadores para pagar as dívidas. Para que um dia, a gente possa ter pago as dívidas e um clube chegue querendo comprar esse jogador por € 12 milhões de euros e eu diga ‘amigão, ele só sai € 25 (milhões), se não for € 25 (milhões), ele vai ficar aqui comigo’. Mas hoje a gente precisa vender por € 12 (milhões), por € 11 (milhões), por € 3 (milhões). A gente precisa investir na base para manter o clube.
9- Você falou que o Marcos Paulo é a bola da vez para negociações? Você não acredita que seja um contra-senso vender jovens atletas e manter jogadores de idade no elenco?
R: Contra-senso seria vender um jogador de 30 e poucos anos porque ninguém vem comprar. Eu tenho um Fiat Uno de 98 e uma Mercedes 2020 na garagem. O jogador tem 3 setas: performance esportiva, imagem, valor econômico. Romário foi artilheiro do Brasileiro com 40 anos, mas ninguém ia comprar o Romário. Os atletas da base tem performance esportiva e valor econômico. E tem jogador que tem os 3. Exemplo: Gabriel Barbosa: performa, tem imagem, e tem valor de venda. Os nossos jogadores, como Nenê, performance esportiva ainda espetacular, com imagem grande. Não tem valor de venda. Idem o Fred, o Ferraz, e jogadores acima de 32 anos. Se desvincula de um clube e vem pro Fluminense. Não temos como sobreviver, hoje, se a gente não vender os jovens. Não todos, mas aqueles que são, como você falou, a bola da vez. Ele subiu, performou, está se transformando num jogador com uma boa imagem. E tem valor de venda. Usei exemplo ruim, mas tinha que ter falado de duas Mercedes. Ela te atende igual, mas você não vende pelo mesmo preço. A cabeça de quem está te ouvindo acha que chega uma proposta de 11 milhões de euros pelo Nenê. Não chega proposta para ninguém no mundo. Vamos continuar vendendo jogadores jovens. O mercado, hoje, está estagnado. Ninguém está fazendo muitas propostas. Certamente, o valor que pode vir pelo Marcos Paulo pode ser um valor menor do que a gente esperava antes da pandemia. E em relação ao contrato, temos uma ótima relação com o staff e com o jogador, que já disse para nós que jamais sairá daqui sem que o Fluminense ganhe alguma coisa. Outros jogadores já tiveram essa atitude. Isso acontece no mercado, mas eu faço uma defesa do jogador e de seus empresários, que já deixaram claro que, se não vendermos ele, ele vai renovar o contrato. O Marcos Paulo tem gratidão ao clube e entende que se tornou o Marcos Paulo por conta do Fluminense. Se não vendermos, a gente vai estender o contrato dele.
10- Gostaria que você falasse um pouco mais sobre a posição do Fluminense em relação a medida provisória 984 que Fluminense não assinou; há um embrolho, e o Flu apoiou a Globo. É possível diálogo entre os clubes, onde cada um tem um interesse sobre essa questão?
R: O Fluminense não está apoiando a Globo, o Fluminense é contratado com a Globo com um vínculo até 2024.
