Dueto brasileiro se apresenta em Laranjeiras antes do Sul-Americano
O dueto brasileiro de nado artístico fez uma demonstração, nesta quarta-feira (10/03), em Laranjeiras, das coreografias que serão apresentadas no Campeonato Sul-Americano de Esportes Aquáticos, de 14 a 20 de março, em Buenos Aires, Argentina, e no Pré-Olímpico dos Jogos Tóquio 2020, em maio, na capital japonesa. O embarque para o torneio continental será realizado no próximo domingo (14/03).
Comandado pela técnica do Fluminense Twila Cremona e formado pelas tricolores Luisa Borges (titular) e Maria Bruno (reserva), além de Laura Miccuci, do Flamengo, o dueto está na reta final de preparação para o Sul-Americano, primeira competição oficial desde o início da pandemia de coronavírus. Para a rotina técnica, o tema escolhido foi o Japão, sede dos Jogos Olímpicos, já na rotina livre as atletas nadarão ao som da banda brasileira Sepultura.

“Depois de ficar mais de um ano paradas, só treinando, sem saber quando íamos competir, ter um campeonato é uma mistura de alegria e ansiedade. Queremos mostrar o nosso melhor e voltar para o Brasil com a medalha de ouro”, disse Twila Cremona.
Titular do dueto, Luisa Borges também não esconde a ansiedade para voltar a competir depois de tanto tempo.
“O Sul-Americano e o Pré-Olímpico estão sendo adiados há um tempo. Estamos muito animadas para dar o nosso 100% e mostrar por que estamos treinando tanto. Primeiro, vamos para o Sul-Americano e depois vamos buscar nossa vaga olímpica”, afirmou Luisa.
Tricolores também na equipe e no dueto misto
Para o Sul-Americano, Maria Bruno tem trabalhado dobrado. A atleta do Fluminense se divide entre os treinos do dueto e da equipe, com a qual vai competir em Buenos Aires ao lado das companheiras de clube Luiza Rodrigues, Anna Giulia Veloso, Thafnnys Milka e da técnica Glaucia Soutinho.
“Como também estou no dueto como reserva, treino alguns dias com as meninas da equipe e em outros com as meninas do dueto. Sendo que no dueto temos dois focos: primeiro o Sul-Americano e depois o Pré-Olímpico. Então, é uma responsabilidade muito grande representar as cores do Brasil e do Fluminense, mas é uma responsabilidade que carregamos com muito orgulho”, explicou Maria Bruno.
Já o dueto misto que representará o Brasil na Argentina será totalmente tricolor, formado por Anna Giulia Veloso e Fabiano Ferreira.
“Já disputei um Campeonato Brasileiro com a Anna Giulia e conseguimos uma medalha logo em nossa primeira nadada juntos. Essa será minha estreia no Sul-Americano, mas a Anna já disputou outros, tem mais bagagem. Ela me passa muita confiança porque dá um frio na barriga disputar uma competição grande como essa. Temos a potência e os movimentos muito parecidos, estamos confiantes e queremos trazer uma medalha para o Brasil”, finalizou Fabiano.
