O meio-campista Wellington, um dos reforços do Fluminense para a temporada falou sobre a alta expectativa para o Campeonato Brasileiro 2021, seu 14º na carreira. Confira:
– Estou feliz por estar jogando mais um Brasileirão, um dos campeonatos mais difíceis do mundo. No Fluminense, o pensamento é sempre de vitória e de alcançar objetivos grandes, com pensamento de jogo a jogo, mas com objetivo de ser campeão – disse, o camisa 8.
O atleta falou também sobre o primeiro embate do tricolor, diante do São Paulo. Um jogo diferente para o jogador, já que o camisa 8 foi revelado pelo tricolor paulista em 2008, ano que ganhou o Brasileirão.
-Será um jogo diferente para mim, pois passei 14 anos no São Paulo, clube que conquistei títulos e o Brasileiro está entre estas conquistas, em 2008. Tenho um carinho e um respeito muito grande pela instituição, mas sou Fluzão agora e vamos sempre com o objetivo de vitória.- comentou.
Wellington também falou a respeito da sequência de jogos que o clube está enfrentando. Mesmo já acabando a primeira fase da Libertadores, agora também terão jogos no meio da semana pela Copa do Brasil. Confira o que o atleta disse:
