Árias é convocado pela Seleção Colombiana para a disputa das Eliminatórias da Copa do Mundo
O técnico da seleção da Colômbia, Néstor Lorenzo anunciou nesta quinta-feira (31) a lista de convocados para os jogos das Eliminatórias da Copa do Mundo e o meia Jhon Árias foi relacionado. O jogador irá servir o seu país nos dias 7 e 12 de setembro contra a Venezuela e Chile, respectivamente.
Essas serão as duas primeiras rodadas das Eliminatórias. A estreia da Colômbia será em casa no Estádio Metropolitano de Barranquilla, contra a Venezuela, às 20h. O segundo jogo será no Estádio Monumental de Santiago, no Chile, contra a Seleção Chilena, às 22h30.
Árias tem sido presente nas últimas convocações e elogiado pelos colombianos. Na últimas partidas, o meia foi um dos destaques da equipe nas vitórias sobre Iraque e Alemanha. No primeiro o jogador saiu do banco e participou do gol da vitória e no segundo foi titular.
