O Fluminense enfrenta o Argentino Jrs pelas oitavas da Libertadores nesta terça-feira (1), ás 19h, no estádio Diego Armando Maradona. Por ter se classificado em primeiro lugar no seu grupo, o Tricolor faz o segundo jogo do confronto dentro de casa.
Fluminense:
O Tricolor se classificou na primeira colocação do grupo que tinha River Plate, The Strongest e Sporting Cristal. Com 10 pontos, o Fluminense foi o pior primeiro colocado da Libertadores. A equipe começou bem e venceu os três primeiros jogos, mas na outra metade caiu de rendimento e conseguiu apenas mais um ponto, na última rodada.

Por ter passado em 1º lugar, o clube tem a “vantagem” de fazer a partida de volta em casa. Isso pode ser bom, pois a equipe não tem tido um bom rendimento fora de casa este ano. No Brasileiro são cinco derrotas, duas vitórias e um empate. Enquanto, na Libertadores apresenta duas derrotas e uma vitória. Por outro lado, o time esse invicto no Maracanã nestas duas competições.

O Argentino Jrs poupou seus titulares na derrota do final de semana e vão ter a equipe descansada para o jogo. O principado desfalque do time é o Santiago Montiel, que está suspenso.
