Em 2020, Chirstian atuou em nove partidas do time Sub-23 (não marcou gols) e chegou a ter uma oportunidade nos profissionais sob o comando de Odair Hellmann, entrando nos minutos finais do jogo contra o Goiás, onde o Flu ganhou por 4×2.
Em novembro, teve seu vínculo renovado com o Flu até junho, na esperança de que o jovem poderia ganhar mais oportunidades, o que acabou não acontecendo. E no time Sub-23, acabou perdendo espaço com a subida de atletas que vieram do Sub-17, categoria campeã brasileira de 2020.
