Terans comenta sobre saída do México e valoriza oportunidade no Fluminense: “Um time campeão”
Nesta terça-feira o novo reforço do Fluminense, David Terans concedeu entrevista coletiva no CT Carlos Castilho pela primeira vez como atleta do clube. O meia comentou sobre seu momento no México e valorizou oportunidade de poder trabalhar com Fernando Diniz e jogar no tricolor.
“Não tinha muita vontade de sair do futebol brasileiro. Teve a oportunidade de ir para o México. Saí para um time campeão, mas que saíram muitos jogadores, subiram muitos jogadores que chegaram da base. No começo foi duro. Tive um pouco de dificuldade. Em dezembro, falei com meu empresário e tinha a vontade de voltar ao Brasil. O time não ia fazer muito investimento. Eu queria voltar ao Brasil. Aí o Fluminense chegou. Eu tinha outras opções. Mas pelo Diniz, por ser um time campeão da América, por isso decidi voltar.” — Disse Terans
Em sua última passagem no futebol brasileiro, Terans atuou em diversas posições no Athletico. O atleta comentou sobre em qual posição prefere atuar.
“Eu acho que posso ajudar mais o time de meia. Posso ajudar o time mais de meia, atrás do centroavante. Sou um jogador que gosto muito de chegar na área, não sou um meia muito armador estilo Ganso e Renato Augusto. Sou mais avançado, gosto de chegar na área, fazer gols. Gosto muito de chutar ao gol de todas as partes do campo, igual ao Cano” – declarou Terans
O meia uruguaio também falou sobre um possível retorno à seleção uruguaia.

Terans faz parte dos sete atletas que foram anunciados pelo Fluminense na temporada de 2024. O clube já anunciou o goleiro Felipe Alves, o zagueiro Antônio Carlos, os meio-campistas Gabriel Pires e Renato Augusto e os atacantes Jan Lucumí e Douglas Costa.
“Eu me adaptei muito bem ao futebol brasileiro. Sei que é muito dinâmico e me sinto bem. Tento me adaptar o mais rápido possível. Vai ser difícil disputar uma vaga, mas vou tentar ajudar o Fluminense a continuar conquistando coisas grandes. Daqui a pouco teremos a Recopa e vamos tentar manter o time conquistando títulos” – concluiu Terans.
