Então achamos um gol numa bela trama, mas que Luciano arremata errado e Yoni esperto balança as redes. Grêmio, sentindo a fragilidade do Fluminense no primeiro tempo, estava tranquilo, mas exagerou e Júlio César, nosso ex-goleiro, deu bobeira e Luciano diminuiu, recolocando o Fluminense no jogo e dando uma bela oportunidade do nosso treinador enxergar o óbvio.
Uma coisa é certa: Mesmo sendo óbvio é preciso enaltecer o Diniz por ter acertado. Claro que ele corrigiu o próprio erro, mas os acertos devem sempre ser elogiados e temos que tirar o chapéu para as substituições e, acima de tudo, a postura que o Flu voltou para segundo tempo. Com Danielzinho no lugar do Airton, sem três volantes no time, o Fluminense massacrou o Grêmio durante uns 25 minutos. Era chute pro gol, cabeçada de escanteio, cabeçada de falta e o Júlio César, tentando se redimir, pegando tudo. Até que no rebote de uma cabeçada de Luciano, Matheus Ferraz empatou. Matheus Ferraz é um cara interessante, não só pelo bom futebol que vem apresentando, mas por ganhar todas as bolas no alto. Eu disse todas! No ataque ou na defesa ele ganha todas, mas o gol nunca saia e dessa vez saiu em um rebote.

Flu continuou pressionando e aí que o Diniz matou a própria escalação inicial, mostrando como estava errada: Sai Guilherme e entra Pedro. Meu Deus, quanto acerto! A postura do Flu não era aquela de passar pro lado, sem objetividade, o Flu jogava para frente, lançando bolas na área sim, mas não era chutões, eram cruzamentos. Um camisa 9 era essencial e, sendo o Pedro, melhor ainda. Afinal, quem bateria um pênalti? Luciano? Pelo amor de Deus. Pedro entrou, pegou a bola do pênalti que Matheus Ferraz sofreu e desempatou a peleja.
Não é toa que o grêmio é um dos melhores times do Brasil e foi para cima da gente, mas nessa altura o Flu já estava arrumado, com sua melhor escalação possível em campo e com moral. Jogo ficou lá e cá e numa falha da nossa defesa, incluindo nosso arqueiro, o zagueiro do Grêmio empatou.
Nesse momento final do jogo, o Flu poderia até fazer uma cera, que não seria feio. Mas nosso técnico tem coragem necessária, que muitos outros consagrados não tem, e o jogo ficou dinâmico, com os dois times atacando e sendo atacados. E aí chegou a hora do golpe final e ele veio com nosso guerreiro do ataque, que andava sendo substituído sem razão em outros jogos. Yoni Gonzales pegou uma sobra de uma falta batida na área (sim, batemos algumas faltas na área, faz parte do futebol, não é tão feio assim) e fechou o caixão. 5 x 4 para o Fluminense nesse jogo épico.
Foi impressionante o nó tático que Fernando Diniz deu no Fernando Diniz. Com uma sensibilidade enorme e, acima de tudo, coragem para vencer, Diniz fez tudo certo do intervalo para o final do jogo, acabando com qualquer chance da escalação do Diniz inicial vingar. Parabéns.
