De acordo com os números divulgados pela FERJ (Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) no boletim financeiro do jogo, o clube teve um prejuízo de mais de 300 mil reais.
Apesar do público de mais de 22 mil pessoas, o clube arrecadou R$ 549.726,50 com a bilheteria, mas as despesas da partida ficaram em R$ 880.161,48. Ao fim, houve um prejuízo de R$ 303.434,98 para o Tricolor.
