No primeiro evento disputado, Flu Legends fica em segundo lugar no Festival Telê Santana
A equipe máster de futebol do Fluminense, o Flu Legends, esteve em Itabirito-MG para disputar o Festival Telê Santana, neste sábado (02/09). O torneio organizado em homenagem ao ídolo tricolor também teve a participação dos times máster de São Paulo, Atlético-MG e uma seleção local.
A primeira partida disputada pelo Flu foi contra a Seleção de Itabirito. O Tricolor levou a melhor, vencendo o jogo por 2 a 0, gols de Marcelo Macedo e Marcelo Cardoso.
Em seguida, o Flu enfrentou o Atlético-MG valendo o primeiro lugar da competição. A partida terminou empatada em 0 a 0, com a equipe mineira superando o Tricolor nos pênaltis. Com o resultado, o Fluminense encerrou o torneio em segundo lugar, levando a taça de vice-campeão para casa.
Titular nas duas partidas, o lateral-direito Ronald falou sobre o desempenho da equipe no torneio e sobre a emoção de representar as três cores.

“O Fluminense jogou bem e o primeiro jogo ganhamos de 2 a 0. No segundo, contra a boa equipe do Atlético, fomos bem também. Pênaltis é aquela história, sorte. Quem está menos nervoso vence. Estou muito satisfeito de estar aqui”, disse o lateral.
“É uma satisfação imensa voltar a usar essa camisa. Agradeço pelo convite. É uma rapaziada maravilhosa, evento muito bom em homenagem ao nosso professor Telê Santana.” completou Ronald.
Autor de um dos gols e uma assistência e eleito melhor jogador do torneio, Cardoso compartilhou um pouco do sentimento de vestir a armadura tricolor novamente.
“Para mim, é uma satisfação muito grande poder voltar a vestir a camisa do Fluminense. É uma camisa com muita história dentro do cenário do futebol. Participar deste evento pela primeira vez, fazer gol e ainda ser eleito o melhor jogador do Fluminense dentro da competição, para mim, é indescritível”.
A equipe titular foi composta por Wellerson; Ronald, Antônio Carlos, Leandro Euzébio e Lira; Marcelo Cardoso, Marquinhos e Jorge Luís; Marcelo Macedo, Zé Maria e Gabriel Lima. Todos os reservas entraram em campo em uma das duas partidas.

Começou na base do Flu aos 17 anos. Aos 21, estreou como profissional. Foram 158 partidas entre 1993 e 1997. Campeão carioca em 1995 em um dos Fla-Flus mais marcantes da história.

Chegou em 1995, aos 28 anos, e foi campeão carioca logo em seu primeiro ano. Permaneceu no Flu até 1997 e fez 94 partidas. Hoje, trabalha nas categorias de base do clube.
Antônio Carlos (3)
Chegou em 2003 e atuou em três temporadas. Marcou o gol do título carioca de 2005. Em 2015 voltou a vestira camisa tricolor, totalizando 110 jogos e 12 gols em suas duas passagens.
Leandro Euzébio (4)
Chegou em 2010 e venceu 89 das 167partidas que disputou pelo Fluminense.Conquistou dois Brasileiros (2010 e2012) e um Carioca. Fez parte da defesamenos vazada do Brasileirão de 2010
Marcelo Cardoso (5)
O meio-campista jogou pelo Fluminense em 1997, durante uma temporada.
Lira (6)
O lateral-esquerdo chegou ao Flu em1992 e jogou no Tricolor por quatro temporadas. Em seu tempo no clube, fez 120 jogos e foi titular na campanha do título carioca de 1995.
Gabriel Lima (7)
Revelado pelo sub-20 do Fluminense em 1996, fez seu primeiro jogo pelo time profissional em 1997, onde permaneceria até 1999. Disputou 19 partidas e marcou três gols.
Deley (8)
Formado na base do clube, Deley subiu para o time profissional em 1978. Em quase 10 anos, fez 281 partidas e conquistou cinco títulos, dentre eles o tri Carioca de 1983, 84 e 85, e o Brasileiro de 84, eternizando-se como ídolo do clube.
Zé Maria (9)
Iniciou a carreira no Fluminense, em 1987. Atuando como atacante, disputou 37 partidas e marcou seis gols com a camisa tricolor. Conquistou de forma invicta o Torneio de Paris de 1987.
Rubens Galaxe (10)
Estreou em 1971 e defendeu o clube por 11 anos. É um dos jogadores com mais partidas pelo Fluminense, com 465 jogos disputados. Foi campeão carioca em 1971, 1973, 1975, 1976 e 1980.
Wallace (11)
Cria da base, Wallace passou a integrar o time profissional em 1993. Com 79 jogos disputados, participou da campanha do título carioca de 1995 e marcou sete gols com a camisa tricolor.
Paulo Sérgio (12)
Chegou ao Flu em 1993 e defendeu a camisa tricolor por três temporadas. Foi titular em dez partidas, além de fazer parte da campanha do título do Campeonato Carioca de 1995.
Paulo Paiva (13)
Contratado para reforçar o time em 1995, foi o zagueiro da campanha do título carioca do mesmo ano. Participou de dez partidas na campanha e marcou um gol pelo clube.
Edevaldo (14)
Cria da base, estreou no profissional em 1977. Em cinco anos de Flu, disputou 198 jogos e marcou 4 gols. Fez parte da equipe campeã carioca de 1980 e jogou a Copa do Mundo de 1982 pela Seleção.
Marquinhos (15)
Contratado como reforço para a temporada de 2010, Marquinhos atuava como lateral-direito e fez parte da campanha do título brasileiro desse mesmo ano.

Marcelo Macedo (19)
Cria da base, passou a integrar o profissional do Flu em 2002. Em dois anos no Tricolor, disputou 74 jogos e marcou 21 gols. O atacante fez parte da equipe campeã carioca de 2002.
