O Fluminense chega para o Fla-Flu sem vencer clássicos nesta edição do Campeonato Brasileiro. A última vez que o tricolor encerrou o Brasileirão sem vencer clássicos foi em 2013 ano que o clube por pouco não foi rebaixado. Nesta edição, o time de Diniz soma três derrotas e dois empates.
