Juro que pensei, pensei outras formas de chamar este jogo de logo mais no Defensores del Chaco. Tentei fugir da rotina, porém não teve jeito: mais um jogo do ano de “vida ou morte” para o nosso Fluminense visando o restante da temporada, pois nos restará brigar nestes quatro meses restantes do ano (caso o pior aconteça, isola!) por uma vaga direta, o que não deixa de ser importante para a próxima Libertadores, já que a chance de título no Campeonato Brasileiro é quase zero.

Dizer que este jogo é um teste cardíaco daqueles para os torcedores tricolores é chover no molhado, ainda mais nas condições em que se dará esta partida. É decisão pura, perdeu e acaba o sonho da Libertadores. Esta partida é daquelas que costumamos dizer “que só acaba quando termina”. Por exemplo: não interessa se este ou aquele time tiver uma vantagem razoável nos primeiros quarenta e cinco minutos. Não teremos chance nem para pegar uma Coca-Cola, é a tendência deste jogão.
Embora tenhamos a vantagem de poder perder até por um gol de diferença, tivemos todas chances do mundo para aumentar esta vantagem no Mario Filho e sacramentar a nossa classificação (agora não adianta chorar sobre o leite derramado), não considero o nosso Tricolor, embora na teoria seja favorito, “sobrando” no jogo, longe disso. Jogando em casa como vimos contra o nosso rival, o Olímpia, em que pese a sua atuação abaixo da crítica, se transforma, ainda mais com aquela torcida e com aquele estádio, este sim podemos chamar de alçapão. Trata-se de um tri campeão da Libertadores e um mundial, que provam a suas tradições em certames de mata a mata. Fomos eliminados por eles no ano passado, ganhamos aqui de 3 a 1 e perdemos lá por 2×0 nos noventas minutos e depois nos pênaltis.
Quanto aos onze titulares que iniciam a partida, Fernando Diniz tem uma grande dúvida. Começa com o mesmo time do Rio, ou com o Lima ou o Martinelli no meio campo, saindo provavelmente o John Kenedy. Quem defende a manutenção do time que venceu no Rio prega e com razão que com mais um atacante o adversário tem que se preocupar mais, não podendo se lançar ao ataque toda hora, pois terá um a mais para marcar na frente, como aconteceu no primeiro jogo. Em contrapartida, os defensores do esquema mais cauteloso (pelo que viram contra o Flamengo), acham que o Olímpia nos primeiros trinta minutos virá com tudo para cima de nós. Portanto, segundo eles, quanto mais “povoar” o setor de meio campo melhor.
Confesso que não tenho uma opinião formada no assunto, pois considero que as duas correntes têm lá suas razões. Para terminar: veremos mais tarde o que o que não vimos muito no primeiro jogo, ou seja, o uso das jogadas áreas do time paraguaio, que são perigosíssimas. Todo cuidado será pouco, muita atenção O JOGO INTEIRO. Ter calma e não “cair” no jogo deles. Esquecer ou deixar de lado, se possível, a arbitragem. Será certamente um jogo muito “pegado”. Este árbitro venezuelano não é de passar a mão na cabeça de ninguém. Agora tomarei mais um calmante para ver se consigo dormir, sem pensar muito no amanhã. Não será fácil.
