Morreu nessa sexta-feira, no Rio de Janeiro, Mario Jorge Lobo Zagallo, lenda do futebol brasileiro e mundial e que foi treinador do Fluminense entre os anos de 1971 e 1972.
Zagallo foi jogador do América, Flamengo e Botafogo, além da Seleção Brasileira, onde foi campeão do mundo nas copas de 1958 e 1962. A lista de times que o Velho Lobo treinou é vasta, incluindo a seleção, onde foi campeão na copa de 1970, quarto lugar na de 1974 e vice-campeão em 1998.
No Fluminense, Zagallo conquistou como técnico o título da Taça Guanabara, do Campeonato Carioca e do Torneio Quadrangular de Salvador, todos em 1971. Em 1972, deixou o clube.
