Moleques de Xerém: Fluminense teve jogadores em todas as convocações de base nos últimos três anos

“Uh, vem que tem, são os Moleques de Xerém”. O canto entoado mas arquibancadas está sendo cada vez mais explicado pela base do Tricolor das Laranjeiras. Com as idas do lateral Esquerdinha e o meia Riquelme Felipe para a seleção brasileira sub-17 nesta terça (25), a base do Fluminense alcançou a incrível marca de ter pelo menos um jogador presente em todas as convocações feitas desde 2020.
“Temos como principal objetivo em Xerém desenvolver os jogadores da melhor forma possível para o time profissional do Fluminense e a presença de nossos atletas em todas as convocações indica que estamos indo no caminho certo”, disse o diretor executivo da base, Antônio Garcia.

Nos últimos três anos, 15 Moleques de Xerém foram chamados pela CBF para treinar ou atuar com a camisa da Seleção Brasileira. Cayo Fellipe, Jefté, Alexsander, João Neto e Matheus Martins representaram a geração 2003; O meia Arthur foi o chamado pela geração 2005; Na geração 2006, Davi Rocha, Júlio Fidelis, Mateus Luiz, Esquerdinha, Fabinho, Matheus Pedro, Gustavo e Kauã Elias estiveram presentes; Riquelme Felipe foi o representante da geração 2007.
“É gratificante saber que os Moleques de Xerém estão sempre representando as cores do Fluminense na Seleção. Isso valoriza o trabalho de todos os envolvidos no nosso processo de formação”, explicou Antônio Garcia.
