Mario Pineida é anunciado como novo reforço do Flu para 2022

Na tarde desta terça-feira (28/12), o Fluminense anunciou em suas redes a contratação do equatoriano Mario Pineida. O lateral de 29 anos vem do Barcelona de Guayaquil por empréstimo de um ano com opção de compra ao final do contrato. O defensor vestirá a camisa 6 do Tricolor das Laranjeiras.
Profissional desde 2019, Pineida acumula passagens por Independiente Del Valle, Barcelona de Guayaquil e seleção equatoriana. Na última temporada, atuando por liga equatoriana e Libertadores, esteve em campo por 33 oportunidades, marcou um gol e deu duas assistências. O jogador atuará pela primeira vez fora do Equador, onde conquistou duas taças da liga nacional e se destacou pelo seu futebol. Pineida é a quarta contratação anunciada oficialmente pelo Flu para a temporada 2022. O jogador se junta ao técnico Abel Braga e aos jogadores Felipe Melo e Willian Bigode como novidades do Time de Guerreiros.
