Um dos grandes nomes do futebol mundial e do Fluminense, Marcelo concedeu entrevista ao Charla Podcast nesta terça-feira e um dos assuntos foi o seu retorno ao tricolor. O camisa 12, campeão cinco vezes da Champions League, falou sobre a emoção de conquistar essa Libertadores e demonstrou gratidão eterna ao Flu.
“As vezes eu me pergunto se eu mereço isso tudo na minha vida. Ganhar tudo o que eu ganhei e voltar pro meu time de coração e ganhar a libertadores. Eu morei em Xerém, eu vivia o Fluminense. Eu tava devendo isso pro Fluminense. Não há libertadores que vá pagar o que o Fluminense fez por mim.” — Disse Marcelo

Com o título da Libertadores, o tricolor garantiu vaga no Mundial de Clubes que acontece em dezembro. Quatro vezes campeão da competição com o Real Madrid, Marcelo diz que não pensa em possível duelo com o City e garante foco na semifinal.
“A gente não pode achar que vai bater de frente. Tem que botar a faca no dente, não da pra ir de igual para igual. Eu nem penso nisso ainda(final contra o City), penso só na semifinal, temos que passar. Levo muito a sério jogar o Mundial pelo Flu” — Completou Marcelo
