Globo abre mão e partida entre Fluminense x Athletico-PR será primeiro “apagão” do Brasileirão 2021
O confronto entre Fluminense e Athletico-PR, válido pela oitava rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro, será o primeiro sem transmissão no Brasileirão 2021. A informação foi publicada na coluna do jornalista Diego Garcia, no UOL.
Isso se dará porque a Globo, que tem os direitos de transmissão dos jogos em TV aberta, pode realizar três partidas da Série A por rodada. Porém neste oitavo jogo do Flu pelo Brasileirão, a emissora resolveu passar os clássicos regionais entre Corinthians e São Paulo, para São Paulo, e Juventude x Grêmio, para o Rio Grande do Sul.
Fluminense e Athletico-PR está marcado para acontecer na semana que vem, em Volta Redonda, às 20h30. Mas às 21h30, a Globo irá transmitir o confronto da Série B entre Botafogo x Vitória. Isso deve acontecer porque como o clube paranaense tem contrato de TV fechada com a TNT Sports e ainda é dono de seus próprios direitos no pay-per-view, a Globo só teria como opção transmitir a partida em TV aberta ou no Globoesporte.com, já que também detém os direitos de internet. No entanto, optou por não fazê-la.

Em nota, a Globo justificou a decisão se baseando no fato de que nas seis primeiras rodadas do Campeonato Brasileiro, o Athletico-PR já teve duas partidas transmitidas em TV aberta.
“Com um número limitado de jogos por rodada, a TV Globo busca um equilíbrio para contemplar torcedores de todos os grandes clubes do Brasil neste início das séries A e B”, afirmou a Globo.
Na legislação atual só é permitida a transmissão dos jogos se a empresa possuir direitos dos dois times em campo. Essa decisão também pesará no bolso dos dois clubes que deixarão de ganhar dinheiro, pois os contrato preveem que as equipes embolsem mais quando o evento é televisionado.
