O Fluminense venceu o Botafogo por 1 a 0 e abriu vantagem na final da Copa Rio Sub-16. O gol do tricolor saiu aos três minutos do segundo tempo com Isaque.
Como foi a partida:
O primeiro tempo foi bastante equilibrado. Os moleques de Xerém tiveram uma posse de bola maior, mas pouco produziu ofensivamente. A melhor chance de perigo da primeira etapa veio do Botafogo, com um chute de fora da área que explodiu no travessão. O tricolor melhorou nos minutos finais e por pouco não abriu o placar após um escanteio.
O Fluminense voltou melhor para a segunda etapa e logo aos 3 minutos abriu o placar. Após boa jogada pela esquerda de Gabriel Costa, Isaque aproveitou o erro do zagueiro alvinegro e finalizou sozinho dentro da pequena área.

Com a vantagem no placar, os moleques de Xerém seguiram buscando o gol. Mas foi o rival que teve as principais chances. O tricolor conseguiu segurar o resultado e sair com a vitória.
