Em 2020, Goias e Fluminense se enfrentaram no Serrinha, mesmo estádio da partida de hoje. O resultado não poderia ter sido melhor para o tricolor que derrotou os goianos por 4 a 2.

Com mais intensidade e pressionando no campo de ataque, o Fluminense ficou à frente no marcado. Aos 6, Caio Paulo cruza na medida para Fred fazer o segundo gol tricolor na partida e o 174 gol pelo Flu em jogo de número 300 com a camisa tricolor. No entanto, a vantagem tricolor durou apenas 11 minutos. Em bate-rebate na área, Rafael Moura ficou com a bola e empatou o confronto.
