O Fluminense empatou com o Botafogo por 2 a 2 na estreia do brasileirão sub-20. Os gols do tricolor foram marcados por João Neto e Kayke Almeida. Com o empate, o tricolor ocupa a quarta colocação do grupo A da competição, junto com Cuibá, Internacional e o próprio Botafogo.

O tricolor tentou criar jogadas, mas foi o alvinegro que levou um pouco mais de perigo. Aos 41 minutos, após cobrança de falta, Kawan cabeceou sozinho e deixou tudo igual.
