O Fluminense ficou de fora de uma reunião, ainda que extraoficial, realizada na tarde deste sábado. Também sem o Botafogo – os dois clubes que publicamente se posicionaram contra o retorno das atividades, de forma precipitada – a reunião, de acordo com o repórter Victor Lessa, contou com a presença dos demais dirigentes de clubes da série A do Carioca. Nela, inclusive, já teria sido estipulada uma possível data de retorno: dia 19 de junho – ou seja, na próxima sexta-feira.
Nossa reportagem apurou que os dois clubes sequer foram convidados para participarem do encontro virtual deste sábado, o que causa estranheza. Os únicos que são contra o retorno são deixados de fora. E isso com um arbitral agendado para a próxima segunda, onde, oficialmente, o principal assunto será debatido exatamente: a data do retorno. E, também sabidamente, como existem clubes contrários ao retorno, o presidente da Federação, Rubens Lopes, informou que a decisão será por maioria simples de votos e não por unanimidade, como requer o próprio regulamento da competição.
O Flu, no entanto, não se furtará de defender seus direitos e agirá, dentro do que entender cabível, para preservá-los e se resguardar de qualquer ação abusiva, seja ela advinda de quem for.
