FIFA adota novas regras de empréstimo de jogadores
Nesta quinta-feira (20), a FIFA anunciou as novas regras de empréstimo de jogadores que serão adotadas primeiro pelo mercado internacional e posteriormente pelos mercados nacionais internos. A intenção da entidade é fazer com que os clubes de maior poder financeiro parem de comprar jogadores que não serão utilizados de maneira desenfreada. As novas regras deveriam ser adotadas em julho de 2020, mas por conta da pandemia de Covid-19 o plano foi adiado para este ano.
As novas regras da FIFA entrarão em vigor a partir de julho de 2022 e são válidas apenas para jogadores a partir de 21 anos e que não são formados nas categorias de base da equipe.

- Empréstimos de no máximo 1 (um) ano;
- Está proibido o sub-empréstimo (um clube que contratou um jogador por empréstimo não poderá repassar esse empréstimo para outro clube)
- O limite de empréstimos para um mesmo clube, ou de um mesmo clube será de no máximo 3 (três) atletas.
O número total de empréstimos feitos por clube sofrerá uma redução gradual até 2024:
- De julho de 2022 a junho de 2023 o limite será de 8 (oito) jogadores;
- De julho 2023 a junho de 2024 o limite será de 7 (sete) jogadores; e
- A partir julho de 2024, o limite ficará fixado em 6 (seis) jogadores.
Como foi dito anteriormente, as regras serão adotas primeiro pelo mercado internacional. A CBF e as demais associações nacionais de futebol terão três anos para implementar essas regras em seus mercados internos.
Atualmente no elenco, o Fluminense possui para a temporada 2022 três jogadores por empréstimo:
- Nonato (Internacional)
- Pineida (Barcelona-EQU)
- Nathan (Atlético-MG)
Para a temporada 2022 o Fluminense também tem oito jogadores emprestados para outras equipes, sendo apenas dois jogadores não oriundos das categorias de base do clube:
- Michel Araújo, 25 anos e emprestado ao Al-Wasl-EAU
- Raí, 21 anos e emprestado ao Bangu
- Nascimento, 22 anos, cria da base e emprestado ao Bangu
- Wisney, 22 anos, cria da base e emprestado ao Bangu
- Emanoel, 20 anos, cria da base e emprestado ao Bangu
- Samuel Granada, 21 anos, cria da base e emprestado ao Nova Iguaçu
- Frazan, 25 anos, cria da base e emprestado à Chapecoense
- Caio Vinícius, 22 anos, cria da base e emprestado ao Goiás
