Ferj determina que a partir da sexta rodada do Carioca todos os jogos dos grandes terão VAR
Após o Vasco formalizar uma reclamação a respeito da arbitragem da última partida, a Ferj teve uma reunião e determinou que a partir da 6ª rodada do Carioca todos os jogos dos times grandes terão VAR.
O protesto dos vascaínos é pelos erros cometidos na partida contra o Bangu no domingo (28), que terminou empatada em 2 a 2. O árbitro do jogo, Tarcizo Pinheiro Caetano passará por uma reciclagem.
Até então, o VAR só seria usado nos clássicos e a partir da semifinal.

Sempre de portas abertas para os filiados e defensora da transparência, a Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, através do Departamento de Arbitragem (DEAF-RJ), reuniu-se com os representantes do Vasco para análise técnica da atuação do árbitro Tarcizo Caetano no jogo contra o Bangu: Lucio Barbosa (CEO), Nicolas Fraga (gerente jurídico) e Alexandre Mattos (Diretor executivo de Futebol).
Pelo DEAF-RJ, estiveram na reunião o diretor do departamento, Luiz Mairovitch, o coordenador técnico, Jorge Rabello, o gestor da divisão técnica, Cláudio José, e o gestor da divisão de escala, José Carlos Santiago. Presente ainda o vice-presidente Competições, Marcelo Vianna.
Algumas decisões foram adotadas:
- O DEAF-RJ concluiu, em relatório, que o árbitro cometeu flagrantes falhas técnicas e passará pelo Processo de Formação Continuada;
- Sem prescindir da tecnologia, a FERJ aguarda relatório da Good Game! para complementar a análise da atuação do árbitro; e
- A partir da sexta rodada da Taça Guanabara, os jogos de clubes grandes x formadores terão auxílio, sempre que for possível operacionalizar, do Árbitro de Vídeo. Vale lembrar que, apesar do uso da ferramenta em clássicos, semifinais e finais aprovada, por unanimidade, em Conselho Arbitral, a FERJ entende ser necessário ampliar o uso do VAR.
