EXCLUSIVO: Caio Couto fala sobre elenco reformulado e expectativa para a estreia na Copinha: “ A melhor possivel”
O Fluminense estreia nesta quarta-feira(03) na Copinha 2024 contra o São Raimundo às 15h15, no estádio da cidade de São Carlos. Os moleques de Xerém realizaram neste terça o último treino antes da estreia. Em entrevista exclusiva ao nosso repórter Pedro Ribeiro, Caio Couto falou sobre a expectativa para a estreia na competição.
“A melhor possível, com muita humildade, vontade de fazer acontecer e dar certo.Eu tenho certeza que a partir de manhã o torcedor tricolor que vai nos acompanhar vai ter a certeza que verá um time que vai se entregar em campo, buscando o melhor para o Fluminense.” — Disse Caio Couto
Para essa edição da Copinha, o tricolor não vai poder contar com alguns grandes nomes da geração como Arthur, João Neto e Dohmann que ficaram no Rio para integrar o profissional no Carioca, que começa no dia 17/01. Caio Couto falou sobre esse elenco reformulado, sem esses nomes.
“Esses atletas passaram pela copinha e mostram o quanto eles são qualificados no profissional. As vezes numa competição de Mata-Mata, como é a Copinha, os detalhes acabam fazendo a diferença na partida. A gente trabalha diariamente pensando jogo a jogo, jogando o primeiro jogo como uma decisão.” — Disse Caio
“A gente teve a oportunidade de trabalhar pelo menos uma semana com esses atletas, mas na verdade a gente tem que olhar sempre para o lado bom das coisas. Eles são merecedores dessa oportunidade, a base, o objetivo maior dela é servir o profissional. Olhando com os bons olhos, também temos bons valores aqui. Mas meninos que tiveram menos oportunidade em 2023, então a gente está querendo trazer esses atletas, a confiança para eles desempenharem esse papel. É um grupo novo, com alguns meninos do Sub-17.” — Completou o treinador
