Depois de tantos denominados “jogos do ano” do nosso Fluminense, até agora nenhum deles merece tanto este título como o jogo de hoje contra o Argentinos Juniors, valendo a passagem para as quartas de final na Libertadores da América, em todos os aspectos. Financeiramente não precisamos falar muito, ainda mais que como estamos carecas de saber, estamos sempre precisamos de dinheiro, graças às administrações anteriores (principalmente as dos dois últimos presidentes, que talvez nem mereçam este nome), que nos levaram praticamente a este caos. Porém, as coisas melhoraram muito nesta gestão, o que não significa que dizer que tudo vai bem obrigado. Saímos do fundo do poço, mas estamos quase no meio dele (poço bem fundo, bota fundo nisso), o que quer dizer que precisaremos ainda de um bom dinheiro nesta escalada. Classificando agora, botaremos a mão numa boa grana. Já nos ajudará muito.
Caso passemos pelo Argentinos Juniors, o que acredito, tecnicamente chegaremos onde eu esperava nesta Libertadores (escrevi isso desde que começou esta competição), nas quartas de final. Cumprimos bem o nosso papel até agora, embora com um desnecessário sofrimento que nos levou a decidir em casa a vaga na última rodada na fase de grupo. Portanto, o que virá a seguir, se Deus quiser, será lucro. Como desgraça pouca é bobagem mais uma vez o sorteio não nos ajudou, pois além de pegarmos um bom time argentino, se passarmos em frente teremos mais dois Fla- Flu, o sétimo e o oitavo do ano e quem sabe, mais tarde, o River Plate. É florida.
Analisando friamente, ganhamos até agora o único campeonato, o Bi Estadual, que na minha cabeça era o mais “possível” de ser alcançado, apesar do Flamengo. O motivo deste meu otimismo na época resumia-se ao fato de não precisarmos tanto do elenco. Não haveria muito desgaste. No caso da Copa do Brasil e na própria Libertadores o elenco pesa muito mais. Reforçamos bem o elenco no geral, mas ainda estamos longe do “ideal” para disputarmos estes campeonatos sem sustos, de igual para igual, com equipes que ganham muito mais verbas das televisões.
Entrando no confronto contra o Argentinos Juniors, o fato de jogarmos em casa nos dá um certo favoritismo, o que não significa dizer que será uma partida sem sofrimento, muito pelo contrário. Qualquer jogo contra um time argentino, estando ele bem ou não, o “bicho pega” em todo os sentidos. Não acredito que eles joguem para o ataque. Jogarão sim nos nossos possíveis erros. Gostaria que eles jogassem no ataque. Não sabemos jogar contra equipes que só defendem, os resultados recentes mostram isto. Para finalizar, que coisa lamentável, ridícula, patética e tudo do gênero a transmissão da Globo no jogo de sábado contra o Palmeiras. Não reprisaram nenhuma vez o lance em que o bandeirinha deu impedimento do Lelê, num lance muito ajustado. Em lances muito mais claros estes auxiliares de meia tigela esperam o lance acabar para invalidar a jogada. Deveriam ter vergonha na cara, principalmente o locutor, que entre outras das muitas asneiras viu uma agressão do Lelê contra o idiota do Weverton, goleiro do Palmeiras. Em suma: ele torceu vergonhosamente para o seu time de coração.
