O Flu ainda gera desconfiança no seu torcedor, pela falta de movimentação da diretoria em anunciar novos nomes para 2019, ou confirmar os que estão nas Laranjeiras, com a renovação de seus vínculos. Na zaga, por exemplo, a dupla titular no ano – ou titulares quando utilizava-se o esquema com 3 zagueiros – Gum e Digão ainda não sabem seu destino para 2019.
Porém, se por um lado esses dois jogadores podem estar de fato de saída do clube, do outro dois destaques em suas equipes na Série B, e que fizeram parte da seleção do Footstats (seleção emprestados Série B), estão de volta e querendo se reafirmar no Flu: Reginaldo e Nogueira.

E eles já tiveram a oportunidade de atuar juntos pelo Flu, em 2017. Abel Braga, treinador na época, os trouxe para a temporada. Reginaldo, na ocasião, fez 29 jogos e Nogueira, 24. E isso mostra o valor desses jogadores. Em entrevista ao Lance, eles comentaram sobre a possibilidade de atuarem juntos e sobre a amizade construída ao longo dos anos:
– Temos muita intimidade, voltei de empréstimo e conheci ele melhor. É um cara muito centrado em tudo que faz, se dedica. Jogador forte, aguerrido. A pessoa dele fora de campo é sensacional, tenho contato. Nos jogos entre Ponte e Figueirense, no primeiro e no segundo turno não joguei, mas estava acompanhando ele e outros amigos. Espero fazer dupla com ele por muito tempo – declarou Reginaldo, que também foi elogiado por Nogueira:
– Minha relação com ele é muito boa, é um cara super do bem. Como jogador é indiscutível, a gente tem uma relação bastante agradável. Quando ele tava na Ponte, sempre mantivemos o contato, procurando ajudar o outro nesse ano que passou – declarou Nogueira.
