Diniz elogia Fábio e fala de lesão do Alexsander: “Vai fazer exames, mas provavelmente não é grave”
O Fluminense derrotou o Cruzeiro por 2 a 0 pela 5ª rodada do Brasileiro, no Mineirão e após a partida, Diniz concedeu uma entrevista coletiva. Com a vitória o Tricolor chegou a 10 pontos e vai dormir na 3ª posição do campeonato.
Depois da falha do Fábio no jogo contra o Vasco ao tentar sair jogando, o 2º gol do Tricolor hoje, começou com o goleiro. Diniz exaltou a jogada inteira, reforçou como é importante para o time essa saída de bola e elogiou o camisa 1.
“Esse exemplo de hoje coincidiu, mas eventualmente o Cruzeiro fez duas ou três pressões muito boas e recuperaram a bola lá. O Cruzeiro poderia ter feito o gol porque recuperaram a bola. O jogo tem um fator chamado imprevisibilidade. Quem sabe jogar é quem sabe lidar com a imprevisibilidade. Do mesmo jeito que a gente fez, a gente poderia ter tomado. Mas a chance do Fluminense fazer é sempre maior do que tomar. O que a gente tem de fazer nas nossas vidas é aumentar as chances de sucesso. Fico feliz de ter acontecido um gol que começou do Fábio. Não que começou só dele. Começou do Fábio, aí o Felipe Melo deu uma bola assim de três dedos. Foi uma construção coletiva muito boa que mostra como o time é solidário e disciplinado, que merece nesse momento os elogios. Foi bom, o time está de parabéns e fiquei muito contente não só pelo gol, mas como a equipe se entregou para ter o resultado de vitória diante de um adversário muito duro e muito bem treinado”, falou Diniz.

“O Fábio, na minha opinião, é um gênio do gol. Por isso, ele consegue jogar com a idade que ele tem. Um cara com 42 anos jogar e se predispor a aprender a jogar com o pé, treinar mais do que os outros. Ele joga com uma naturalidade incrível hoje. Parece que o Fábio nasceu jogando com o pé. Ele é um gênio mesmo, talentoso demais, ele é espetacular. Com talento natural e o resto é esforço. Que ele não tinha tanta condição com o pé, que foi pouco estimulado ao longo da carreira dele e, em um ano, o que ele evoluiu é uma enormidade. É uma coisa surpreendente”, completou Diniz.
Apesar de ter conquistado os três pontos, boa parte da torcida terminou o jogo nervosa, devido a lesão do Alexsander. O volante saiu de campo chorando no final da partida e deixou os torcedores preocupados. Na coletiva Diniz disse que o jogador vai fazer mais exames, mas tudo indica que não é grave.
“É uma lesão no joelho, mas aparentemente um estiramento do colateral. Vai fazer mais exames, mas provavelmente não é uma coisa grave. A gente sabe que é um jogador pra gente cada vez mais importante e espero que ele se recupere o mais rápido possível” disse Diniz.
O treinador foi perguntado também sobre possíveis reforços na próxima janela. Ele precisou terminar o jogo improvisando David Braz na lateral, depois da saída do Alexsander e disse que o Fluminense sempre está em busca de oportunidades no mercado, mas está feliz com o elenco atual.
“Talvez precise. Não consigo te afirmar agora se vai precisar. Mas o elenco do Fluminense nunca vai estar fechado. Se tiver alguma boa oportunidade para vir reforçar o elenco melhor das perspectivas que temos aqui, do olhar para a base e lançar mais algum garoto, a gente vai estar aberto para fortalecer o elenco. Não tá fechado, não consigo te responder agora. Depende muito do que vai acontecer até o meio do ano. A gente não sabe, mas eu de fato estou contente com o elenco mesmo. Gosto de trabalhar com o elenco do Fluminense. Tem muitos jogadores que vão evoluir ainda, tem alguns jovens ainda como é o caso do Isaac, o Arthur, o Kayky zagueiro, que estava aqui com a gente. Eles têm tudo para, no médio prazo, dar uma resposta positiva. Talvez a gente precise, mas, se precisar, a gente vai no mercado. Muito seletivo e buscando mais qualidade e oportunidade do que quantidade”, comentou Diniz.
