Adversário do Fluminense na final da Copa Libertadores da América, o Boca Juniors voltou a vencer uma partida depois de um mês. A equipe xeneize derrotou o Union de Santa Fé por 2 a 1, na noite desta sexta-feira (20), no Estádio La Bombonera, pela nona rodada do Torneio Clausura (2º turno do Campeonato Argentino). Os gols da partida foram marcados Marcos Rojo e Merentiel para o time da casa; Luna diminuiu para os visitantes.
A última vitória do Boca Juniors tinha acontecido há um mês. No dia 19 de setembro, a equipe derrotou o Central Córdoba por 3 a 0, fora de casa, também pelo Campeonato Argentino. De lá para cá, foram seis jogos – incluindo as partidas de ida e volta contra o Palmeiras pela Libertadores da América – com quatro empates e duas derrotas, um aproveitamento de 22%.
Até a decisão do torneio sul-americano, os xeneizes ainda tem mais duas partidas. Na próxima terça-feira (24), o time vista o Racing, no El Cilindro; e no sábado (28), recebe o Estudiantes, em casa. Todos os jogos são pelo Campeonato Argentino.
