De olho nelas: como chega o Barueri para a estreia da Superliga 2023/2024 contra o Fluminense
Na noite deste sábado (11) o Fluminense visita a equipe do Barueri pela estreia da Superliga 2023/2024, no Ginásio José Correa, em Barueri-SP. A partida começa às 18h com transmissão pay-per-view do Canal Vôlei Brasil.
O Barueri perdeu o treinador José Roberto Guimarães para o voleibol turco, mas o treinador da seleção brasileira feminina continua sendo um dos principais gestores do projeto fora de quadra. O time agora é comandado dentro de quadra pelo técnico Wagão, que também treina a seleção feminina sub-21 (onde é auxiliado pelo nosso treinador Guilherme Schmitz).
No Campeonato Paulista deste ano, as nossas adversárias de hoje terminaram em quarto lugar. Na primeira fase venceram o São Caetano em casa por 3×0, além do Sorocaba e do Campinas fora de casa por 3×0 e 3×1, respectivamente. As derrotas aconteceram para o Osasco em casa (3×0), Pinheiros fora (3×0) e Sesi-Vôlei Bauru em casa (3×1). Nas semifinais, enfrentaram o Osasco, equipe que viria a ser a campeã, e perderam ambos os jogos por 3×0.

A grande destaque da equipe é a capitã e levantadora Carol Leite, de 30 anos, que foi medalha de prata com a seleção brasileira no Pan de 2023 em Santiago, no Chile. Sua reserva é uma conhecida da torcida tricolor: Maria Clara, ou Clarinha, que até a temporada passada atuava na nossa base e era a terceira levantadora do time adulto, atrás de Juma e Amanda.
A partida começa às 18h na cidade de Barueri, em São Paulo. A transmissão acontece por pay-per-view no Canal Vôlei Brasil. A página Time de Guerreiras fará a cobertura em tempo real, com fotos e vídeos, direto da quadra do Ginásio José Correa, no Instagram e no Twitter.
