O Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino Sub-20 vai começar e o Fluminense está de cara nova. Por conta das alterações anunciadas em 2021 pela CBF, as categorias de base do tricolor passaram por uma ampla reestruturação. Com isso, o elenco conta com muitas novidades, assim como a comissão técnica.
A estreia do Fluminense na competição será hoje, às 20:30, contra o Flamengo. A partida será no estádio Gabriel Marques Silva, em Santana de Parnaíba (SP) e não será transmitida.

A mudança promovida pela entidade máxima do futebol brasileiro fez com que as competições não fossem mais divididas em sub-18 e sub-16. Com o objetivo de elevar a idade das jogadoras, as competições de base, hoje, contemplam as categorias sub-20 e sub-17.
Comissão Técnica
Uma das principais mudanças na base do Fluminense passa pelo comando do time. Em 2021, o treinador era Filipe Torres, campeão Brasileiro Sub-18 em 2020 e Carioca Sub-18 em 2021. Após sua saída, Douglas Matsumoto foi quem assumiu a equipe tricolor.
O novo treinador do Fluminense começou no Centro Olímpico (SP) em 2014, onde, em seis temporadas, comandou as categorias sub-11, sub-13 e sub-15, conquistando os principais títulos de sua carreira: a Danone Nations Cup, em Nova York, a Liga de Desenvolvimento Sub-14, o Sul-Americano e a Disney Cup. Depois, dirigiu a equipe B do Valadares Gaia (Portugal), que jogava a segunda divisão feminina. Antes de chegar às Laranjeiras, era auxiliar da base feminina do São Paulo, onde ganhou o Brasileiro Sub-18 2021 e o Paulista Sub-17.
Além dele, compõe a comissão técnica do Flu os seguintes profissionais: Alexandre Faria, roupeiro; Claudia Barreto e Katty Carneiro, fisioterapeutas; Danielle Cervinho, Gabriela Vieira e Luiza Grandini, médicas; Fernando Benvindo, preparador de goleiras; Milena Carvalho, preparadora física; e Paulo Cesar, auxiliar técnico. No departamento de futebol feminino, Amanda Storck segue como gerente, assim como Marco Brito segue como coordenador técnico. Illy Duarte, que era supervisora da base, hoje é supervisora da equipe adulta, dando lugar a Juliana Oliveira.
Elenco
A mudança dos critérios de idade adotados para as competições de base fez com que o Fluminense reformulasse o elenco. Pensando na categoria sub-20, a equipe precisava ficar “mais velha”. Assim, o clube realizou 13 contratações, que se somaram às 12 jogadoras remanescentes: Mari (goleira); Andressinha e Leandra (laterais); Alice e Rapha Saade (zagueiras); Helô Faria, Duda Cerqueira, Duda Calazans e Larissa Freiman (meias); Laysa, Sandy e Nogueira (atacantes).
Ao mesmo tempo que chegaram muitos reforços, o time sofreu baixas importantes, como a saída de Luiza Travassos, que foi estudar nos Estados Unidos, e Ravena, que foi para o Corinthians. Além delas, Sabrina Amorim também foi para o Corinthians, Luany foi para o Grêmio, Carol Valle foi para o ESMAC e Luana Gusmão foi para a Ferroviária.
