E por lá ficará, pelo menos até a noite dessa segunda-feira, quando o Internacional visita o Atlético-GO. Em caso de vitória da equipe sulista, o tricolor cairá para a terceira posição.

A rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro teve uma nova vitória do líder. O Palmeiras, mesmo com um jogador a menos, conseguiu vencer o Santos, por 1 a 0. O resultado manteve a distância de nove pontos entre o Time de Guerreiros para o Porco. Em contrapartida, o Corinthians perdeu do América-MG, também por 1 a 0, e se distanciou dos primeiros colocados. Agora, restam 11 rodadas para o fim do Brasileirão.
