Após discussões, Atlético-MG sinaliza que Arena MRV não terá gramado sintético em 2024
O assunto do gramado da Arena MRV segue sendo discutido. Desde que foi inaugurada, em agosto deste ano, a grama sofreu muitas críticas e a substituição pelo sintético começou a ser uma opção. Mesmo com a expectativa para a mudança ser na próxima temporada, o CEO da SAF do Atlético-MG, Bruno Muzzi, afirmou que essa alteração não dever ser feita em 2024.
O dirigente explicou que a mudança do gramado natural para o sintético passa pelo Plano Diretor de Belo Horizonte, que determina que cada projeto deve ter uma área de infiltração de água. Como o gramado sintético não absorve a água, fazer a troca depende do Atlético compensar com algum outro espaço que tenha absorção de água. O Campeonato Mineiro começa no dia 24 de janeiro, e o Galo vai mandar os jogos na Arena. Com isso, o clube planeja alguns cuidados específicos para manter o gramado em bom estado. Além disso, Bruno Muzzi ressaltou que a grama híbrida não é a solução.
– Uma tentativa é buscar a mudança de legislação junto à prefeitura. Outra opção seria comprar uma área ao lado para agregar, só que, aí, seriam 8.000 m². Temos também a alternativa de comprovar que a grama sintética volta a mesma quantidade de água que a grama natural. São caminhos que estamos estudando e a gente já perdeu a janela de agora. Eu não vou fazer nenhuma mudança sem ter essa questão legal superada.
Vale ressaltar que o Fluminense e o Flamengo, recentemente, adotaram uma postura contrária aos gramados sintéticos no Brasil. Uma vez que o tipo já se mostrou ter mais desvantagens que vantagens, há um movimento que decorre no Brasil para acabar com este tipo de gramado nos estádios do Brasileirão.
