Segundos 99% dos “matemáticos”, o time que chegar aos sessenta e quatro pontos garante a sua presença diretamente na fase de grupo na Copa libertadores de 2023. O que interessa agora, daqui para frente, é buscar sem susto o que de antemão acho muito improvável. Estes pontos, que nos levarão à realidade de um sonho, que antes do começo da competição parecia uma ilusão. Faltam para o Fluminense: o Botafogo amanhã em casa, depois o Corinthians em São Paulo, o Ceará em Fortaleza, provavelmente sem público, o que não deixa de nos favorecer, devido aos acontecimentos (briga entre os torcedores locais nas arquibancadas, invasão de campo e muita porrada etc e tal), no jogo contra o Cuiabá, além do time cearense estar com a corda no pescoço. Voltamos ao Rio para enfrentar o São Paulo e o Goiás e acabamos o campeonato fora do Rio, contra o Bragantino, que não deve estar brigando por nada até então.
Portanto, se quisermos chegar lá, não podemos nem empatar nos jogos aqui em casa (São Paulo, Goiás e porque não o Botafogo) e buscar o restante dos pontos que vão faltar fora de casa, difícil, mas muito longe do impossível. Como mencionei, amanhã contra o Botafogo temos que buscar os três pontos de qualquer maneira, o que será um osso duro de roer. Mesmo vindo de uma derrota, aí é que mora o perigo, contra o Internacional no Engenhão, num jogo muito igual, o Botafogo não é mais aquele time que vencemos no turno de um a zero, melhorou bastante sem sombra de dúvidas. Fora do seu estádio o Botafogo (o Mario Filho não é a sua casa) tem um ótimo retrospecto, um dos melhores do campeonato. Não somos favoritos, como não fomos em diversas partidas contra quaisquer adversários, apesar da diferença de pontos nossos para eles. Sofrimento, é claro, a vista. Fernando Diniz para variar não confirmou o time, contra o Avaí por exemplo, tirou um coelho da cartola, enganando todos os que cobrem o dia a dia do Fluminense, escalando o Yago para começar a partida. Deu certo, mas isso não quer dizer que ele repetirá a escalação. Tudo pode acontecer.
É triste, mas é a verdade: há muito tempo, bota tempo nisso, não vejo gerações tão fracas no nosso Tricolor como a deste ano (também em 2021) seja ela no sub 15, 17 ou a 20. Tirando o Carioca, fomos eliminados em todas as competições, em todas as categorias de forma muitas vezes vexaminosas, lamentavelmente. Ao contrário dos outros anos não vejo nenhum jogador daqueles que dizemos que poderão ser realidade no futuro. Queria aqui estar exaltando o nosso trabalho de base, mas por questão profissional não dá para fazer isso, por mais que eu me esforce. Podemos para o ano que vem mudar este quadro desanimador, claro, nada é para sempre. Para começo de conversa precisamos de uma reformulação geral nos subs 15, 17,20, urgentemente, sem pensar duas vezes. A começar pelos treinadores, antes tarde do que nunca JÁ PASSOU DA HORA. Se não o ótimo trabalho em Xerém até então será seriamente comprometido.
