Advogados de Pedro Scudi entram com recurso contra a decisão de absolvição dos acusados de agressão
O caso do julgamento dos agressores de Pedro Scudi ganhou novo capítulo na Justiça. Conforme informado pelo GE, os advogados de defesa do torcedor tricolor entraram com um recurso em face da decisão que absolveu três dos quatro torcedores de uma organizada do Vasco acusados de agressão há 5 anos.
Em sede recursal, a defesa argumenta que Scudi ainda apresenta graves sequelas em decorrência do crime, reiterando o quadro de saúde dele, que “ainda não movimenta o lado esquerdo do corpo, não consegue ficar em pé, mesmo parado, tem que se locomover com o auxílio de cadeira de rodas e, embora consiga falar, depende de uma dose de concentração do interlocutor para ser compreendido”.

Sobre o processo judicial
Em fevereiro de 2017, Scudi foi agredido com barras de ferro, fazendo com que ficasse em coma induzido e internado por 157 dias. Além disso, embora tenha passado por inúmeras cirurgias, ainda possui graves sequelas.
Os acusados são Diego Augusto Carvalho Ribeiro, Diogo Gabriel de Souza e João Victor Correia Giffoni Hygino, denunciados pelo Ministério Público do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ) por tentativa de homicídio triplamente qualificada e associação criminosa. Eles estavam em prisão preventiva e foram liberados.
Em abril de 2021, ocorreu o julgamento na 4ª Vara Criminal do Tribunal de Justiça do Rio de Janeiro, quando a decisão de absolvição foi proferida. Segundo a sentença, o motivo foi a “insuficiência de provas de autoria quanto à tentativa de homicídio e ao crime de incitação à violência, bem como a absolvição por ausência de materialidade do crime de associação criminosa”.

O Fluminense tem acompanhado de perto o caso de Scudi e dado suporte à família. Quando a decisão de absolvição foi publicada, o presidente Mario Bittencourt lamentou:
“Fiquei bastante triste com o que li (na sentença), por ser amigo do Scudi e acompanhar a luta dele de perto… É uma sentença muito pouco fundamentada. Falei com a mãe dele ontem à noite. Ela está muito triste com o que aconteceu. Disse a ela que tenha forças, que o Fluminense toda nossa torcida, que ama o Scudi, ainda vamos ajudá-lo bastante.”
