– Aqui tudo começou para mim. Era um menino, que morava na Penha, estudava, classe média meia baixa, mas fui aprendendo muito, com meu primeiro treinador, uma série de pessoas, até que chega aquele momento profissional que tem de deixar o sentimento um pouco de lado. Fui para o Vasco, que é um grande clube, seleção brasileira, Paris Saint-Germain… Mas isso não quer dizer esquecimento. A relação com o tricolor é muito forte. Não sou e nem quero ser unanimidade, isso não existe em lugar nenhum, mas tenho certeza que a torcida do Fluminense gosta muito de mim, da mesma maneira que os amo.
