Enfim, demorou mas começou pra gente a Libertadores da América. Foi apenas o sorteio de grupo, sei disso, mas conhecemos os nossos adversários para esta primeira fase (espero que passemos por ela e sigamos em frente) do campeonato mais importante em termos sul-americanos. O River Plate é sem dúvida, no papel por enquanto, o favorito para liderar o nosso grupo. Teremos ainda o Independiente de Santa Fé da Colômbia e o Bolivar da Bolívia ou o Junior Barranquilla também da Colômbia, que ainda estão disputando a fase preliminar desta Libertadores. Prefiro que vença o Junior por uma razão óbvia, a altitude da Bolívia.
Assim que acabou o sorteio entrei nas redes sociais para ver a reação dos nossos torcedores, não sem antes conversar, ouvir a opinião daqueles amigos todos, Tricolores, que convivem quase todos os dias comigo, ou seja, pelo telefone, o que é o mais certo pelos dias de hoje. Tomei um susto daqueles quando pedi a opinião do meu amigo irmão Gilberto Brasil (acompanhamos juntos o nosso Tricolor desde o Fla x Flu de 1969 pelo campeonato carioca, o tal jogo de 172 mil pessoas no estádio do Maracanã) que previu o caos, que brigaríamos talvez apenas por uma vaga na Sul-americana, antevendo duas vitórias tranquilas do River Plate e tudo mais. Não preciso dizer: começou a temporada de sonambulismo dele. Sem falar seu receio com os times restantes do grupo.
Nas redes sociais existe sim uma divisão, aqueles mais receosos que pensam como o meu amigo e outros mais otimistas, ou realistas como queiram, sem tirar os pés do chão, como o amigo que vos escreve este artigo. Como disse no título, respeito sim, medo nunca, acho bem possível que passemos desta fase. É claro que temos que melhorar muito do que vimos nas atuações atuais do nosso time. Em que pese a falta de reforços acredito que isso tem chance de ocorrer. Pegamos logo de cara o River Plate no Estádio Mario Filho, um jogo muito importante para o restante da campanha, não que defina alguma coisa, mas é importantíssima uma boa atuação para adquirirmos moral. Medo nunca respeito sim, aliás é o que vem apregoando a imprensa Argentina desde que saiu o sorteio em relação a nós, para espanto dos pessimistas de plantão. E mais, não temo nenhum dos times colombianos ou o Bolivar se vier a conquistar a vaga. Sem reforços e tudo mais temos tudo para vencê-los aqui e buscar empates na casa deles.
Domingo enfrentaremos o “poderoso” Nova Iguaçu pelo Cariocão na nossa casa, numa partida de suma importância para o nosso futuro por dois motivos. O primeiro deles é que temos que solidificar a nossa posição na tabela. Por enquanto ainda corremos o risco de ficar fora da próxima fase, e o outro é que a Libertadores começará entre o jogo do Botafogo e do Madureira, ou seja, não sabemos o que o Roger fará, se escalará o time alternativo ou o time principal para ganhar mais ritmo de jogo para a estréia na Libertadores. Espero que o Roger já aproveite essa partida de domingo para rever a sua tática usada até agora (não vejo sinceramente, nas circunstâncias de momento, como podemos jogar no 4-3-3. Não dá. Temos que reforçar o meio de campo colocando um jogador mais acostumado a marcar, como o Wellington. Não estou louco. Não podemos abrir mão de um jogador que sabe marcar e muito bem, somando–se a isto sua experiência em campeonatos deste tipo. São oito participações e dois títulos. Hoje eu sacaria do time o Luís Henrique e jogaria no 4-4-2 sem duvida
Vamos ter que apostar na garotada, coisa que eu temo muito, mais pelo andar da carruagem, porém temos o Fred e o Nenê para “cuidar” deles dentro das quatro linhas.
